The families have all received death threats. Police are involved.
Bookies are claiming their sons owe five and six figure amounts.
Calls and texts are being made with burner phones. Even burner phones aren't cheap so someone is investing time and money.
The kids claim they are not in debt and till now were living the high life, buying NFTs and even new cars.
Be careful what you post online. Dont risk talking about the thousands you carry or the big bets you make.
It doesnt take much to figure out who you are, where you'll be, or how to hit you.
This East Coast case I'm sure is not isolated to these four families.
Think.
Better yet don't post. No good will come of it. You're not impressing anyone but the scammers and the thugs.
But the Engelbert Humperdinck crowd were totally senior citizens.

Burner phones are possibly less expensive than people think.
A common tactic is to try to scam someone on one of the perpetual online yard sales into forwarding a verification code text they get in furtherance of a sale transaction. Then it's "just" 10-15 minutes to get a new number.

I don't understand the comment about burner phones being expensive?
I can buy a phone for £20 and pay by cash. I can get a sim for 99p and pay by cash. I can top it up by voucher and pay by cash.
Totally legal here in the UK. Totally anonymous.
Many networks want a credit card and Identity at first top-up. but it's not mandatory here in blighty..
Is it different in the States? Do all your phones and Sims have to be registered to an identity?

It is harder to pay cash here.
More cash is required. Figure $30 for the phone and often $20 for a month of service. I'm no math expert, but $50 per extortion would seem to cut into EV.
"They" try pretty enthusiastically to register a phone to an identity. Not sure if it's companies providing a great customer care and support experience or mandatory KYC.
A Google Voice or similar disposable number is easier, but most of the providers want to link it to a real phone number somehow. Ashly wasn't understanding how she was about to get scammed by sending an auth code to someone purporting to want her antique teapot, but I interceded in time.
Quote: SeedvalueDM me and I will give you a number to forward to these victims. My crew and I will field everyone of the calls and deal with it. I’m currently dealing with made guys trying to take over casino plays in three different states in the east. We don’t care about non of them and are willing to die if need be over principal. No more laying down for these types of goons. No one is running or hiding I they can even lay their debts off onto us for free. I will vouch for everyone of them. Don’t care about the consequences

This would seem to be a noble offer, but please recall the forum rules about legality and threats of violence.
Secondly I have a open question maybe we can discuss like civilized men.
Do you think the over moderation of This board has contributed to the overall decline in traffic and the open sharing of ideas among advantage players here ?
I respect the right for private business to have rules and standards but it would seem to me that some of these rules are being arbitrarily applied thus contributing to the slow decline of daily traffic and engagement. This is my opinion when looking at the sites overall traffic.
Not many people will stay after even one suspension. Let alone two. At least not anyone who has valuable information to share IMO
