MDAWG voice your opinion

As most of you know I contribute my recent road to temporary success to MDawg. I've stated that numerous times because it is the absolute truth.

I've tried my best to detail out my sessions and what I'm doing each time I go to the casino and I've only had the insight to do this because of MDawg, although I've worked in the casino business and on the casino floor for many many years.

I'm a little disappointed about his suspensions and I'm not going to going into the merits or the reasoning for any of them. But I know there's quite a few people here that do admire him in one way or another.

Let's voice some opinion for everyone to read in the public forum.

How is this post not trolling?

I think everyone on all 3 sides of this debacle, the MDawg fans, the MDawg opposition, and the mods, all just want this to go away!

This post does the exact opposite of that! Id say its 100% a trolling post.

I bet if kewlj posted it, we'd NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN!

I had no idea this was trolling. I I've never seen any announcements about saying his name in a thread's headline.

Here's my 2 cents...

Posts like this are trolling. Trolling for people to respond and then people say they are offended.

Sure, maybe people shouldnt respond and feed the trolls. However, if there wasnt a thread started like this, the people wouldnt need to bite!

Both sides need to own their part. The trolls need to quit trolling, which is against forum rules, and then the masses will quit biting!

We have people in green for a reason. Simply report trolls for trolling and let them do their job.

Youd think the mods would get tired of babysitting grown adults and setting the standard and precedent that threads like this are trolling would be a start!

i have a q:

if someone believes they have a way to beat the house (MD), that possibly (because I don't think it's been verified) includes AP, and they are openly witnessed doing it, is that trolling or reporting facts?

hint: i don't think people should be presuming that MD's a troll! and if he's not a troll, or it hasn't been proven, why has a certain thread been placed in WOV Neverland?

First lets deal with the political comment aspect: Mike has said that political posts are judged to an extent on whether one could determine your allegiance from your post: E.g. "Boris Johnson is a fascist" would be an obvious controversial opinion. But "I tend not to trust UK politicians" would not reveal allegiance and so would be ignored.

Now as to the attack on MC's poll.

Was it a p...-take of MC or was it a p... take of his post? Attack the post is OK.

His description 'Lap Dog' would probably fail Wizard's measure of what is an insult, so it needed to go with a warning. I echo that warning. He's had two warnings now. Let that suffice. I ask that Wizard does not over-rule us.

As a gesture towards fairness and leniency, I suggest that we don't penalise MarcusClark for the possibility that he was attempting to troll us with his poll. I think it is trolling, but Moderation in Moderation.

If your poll results in a spate of suspensions, I will have to reconsider your intent in starting the thread. Posting with the intent of getting other members suspended is pretty much the epitome of trolling.

After a review, I see no harm done and thus no penalty. My interpretation is the remark was a joke and not a serious political statement.

I am also closing this thread. Warning issued to Marcusclark66 that if you want to discuss mdawg, do it in one of his hidden threads.
