So as someone who plays a bit of VP machine play for the mailer hustle, most of the places I place were at the lower end of my cycle and I was going to just let them go and reset next year. I did have one place, offering $150 free play a week that I thought I would swing by and hit each week.
Then on Saturday, I got a mailer from a independent local casino (not chain) with $400 free play per week. This is a high amount for my volume of play. I had almost forgot that I visited this place once since re-opening a couple months ago to check for changes in blackjack and gave them some modest VP play.
But this amount is far greater than I should have gotten. I have been playing this place (not going to name it right now) for years and this is easily 4 times what I should have gotten for the amount of play I gave them. This is a place that has an older customer base and I can only guess they are hurting and giving higher mail offers to entice players.
Anyone else have any experiences along these lines?
I can only hope for $10 match plays for a $5 table.
I should get my driver's license in the mail any day now so security has something to swipe at the door during The COVID-19 Connection Shakedown.
Red Rock (Stations) was giving me $45 of free play twice a week and in November it's only $15 twice a week.

Lol. You have a gift for essentially naming places you’re not naming.
I’ve seen some places Post Covid with offers as high or higher than before as well as 2-3 places that had generous offers but cut off so fast even with reasonable additional play that it wasn’t worthwhile essentially fake offers. And then places that I would have had good offers waiting on pre-Covid that sent nothing at all, it’s really been all over the map.
Some of the people who I know are redchip saw increases across the board.

Lol. And that's ok because I am not trying to be secretive to protect some great info. I am happy to share with anyone that wants the info. Just not publicly where some search of the property name results in management reading something and deciding to switch up.

but borgata doubled my freeplay from $75 to $150 (one time only).
i could time Bally's right for mid nov and get $300 free play for 5 days/4 nights stay. (so $450 total including borgata)
but nah.
dont feel like driving 3hrs each way right now, especially since caesars extended my Diamond till Jan 2022.
if freeplay for 5day/4night stay >$1000 total, then i'll probably do it.
(i havent been to a/c this year.)
