I agree.
Enough information has been presented that those willing to put thought into it can do so, and potentially benefit from it, if they so choose. I don't think there's any need to say anything further along these specific lines.
Quote: Mission146There's no point in having the conversation because even if Darkoz (or, less likely, myself) were to spell it out-nobody would believe us. Or, perhaps some people (nobody specifically---please note) would just pretend not to believe us. It would be information getting out there that benefits nobody.
Secondly, if you accept the underlying claim (not necessarily the specific numbers) as generally true, then it shouldn't be too hard a concept to figure out on your own if you really think about it.
As far as bringing it to the public's attention, I'm afraid I didn't notice who first did that in this thread. I don't necessarily read every post of every thread.
I believe it's possible to get a player to give up his card and free play to a friend. I believe it because I did it.
About four years ago after hitting a $100k royal I went to Morongo near Palms Springs. One time. But in that one time I put thru enough play to get their highest tier card... a Black card or whatever it was called.
With the black card I got free valet and some other perks and ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF FREE PLAY each week. Not thousands, but $100. I gave the card and my PIN to a friend who went there all the time.
The valets never asked for matching ID, and the video poker machine never asked for ID when he entered my pin.
The free valet lasted a year... the free play went away because after he played my free play he put in his own card.
Quote: coachbellyHow is that different than where this matter currently stands?
The only time I run to end up in the same place I started is if I am on a treadmill.
I don't do any of this stuff, but I think I have a pretty good inkling of how it's done. Anyway, point is moot, because you guys should keep it to yourselves.
This reminds me a little bit of the old axiom about "you need to win 52.4% of straight spread bets against the juice" to make money sports gambling. Well, no you don't. But if you tell some people that, they spend all day squinting at the math instead of the obvious.

Hey, Alan, is that same black card as at Pechanga? Jesus. One of my compadres got one of those, but he put in like a million dollars in blackjack play in 48 hours or something like that. You must have been slamming some action at them.

Is it your belief that all casinos market the exact same way? Do you think that some casinos might offer more for a certain level of play whereas others might offer nothing or virtually nothing?

Really? How do you get back home after your run?

I dont know how Pechanga works.
At Morongo I was playing $5 bonus and $5 double double bonus. I played a total of about 12 hours during my stay. Despite winning $10k with AAAA with a kicker on DDB I still lost about $15,000. So yes I pounded away.
That was worth $100 of free play per week for the next three months plus invites to events my friend could not use because of ID requirements.

Did you stake him to play more than just the free play on your card?

No.
Quote: AlanMendelsonExactly.
So to continue this youd have to have a never ending pool of big gamblers who amazingly would play big and then give up their cards and free play. Really?
How many big gamblers would simply turn over their cards like that?
Zero. If you'd like more information I would remind you that lessons cost money.

Correction Sabre.
Apparently one!
Alan says after playing big he gave up his card and freeplay willingly to a friend

Don't folks give their cards and the associated freeplay willingly to you?
If yes, then are any that do your friend?

I understand you are trying to solve this mystery.
I'm going to have to go Dark (get it I'm Darkoz) and not say anything more.
You are on the wrong track is all I will say
Quote: darkozI'm going to have to not say anything more.
zero chance of that happening
You've already explained that you collect freeplay from other peoples' cards.
