If you're sick it's too late, haven't we all learned that by now? That's one of the biggest problems with this particular virus... people who aren't sick yet can still spread it. Take zinc and get rest is your answer, come on man, you can't be serious with that.

The problem with people making their own decision who are willing to risk their own lives is the fact that it doesn't just affect them and their family, it affects all the other patients and Healthcare facilities, essential workers, nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers that have to take care of those people when they're sick.

Over here, I have never seen anything more ambiguous than the stats that come from our local paper, [that I still get 5 days]. Our governor [Ducey] is also the flakiest man in the west.

Az, still does not have reliable testing. In the paper, they started blitz testing here, [Kingman, Bullhead and Havasu] just about a month ago. I have a friend that went, two weeks ago, and still doesn't have the results. The test used for the "blitz" testing, is the anti body test, that in another article in the paper claims to be 40% false negatives. So if you test negative, you should get another more reliable test, or so they say. IDK, what you are supposed to do, it you take a test, deemed unreliable and test positive but never have any symptoms?

We are the worst state in the country on tests, and the Navajo res. is the worst per capita, with only 70% of them having running water. Here in Mojave county, we have a 65% rate of senior citizens, the highest in the country, and we have the lowest testing in the country, and those tests are only at best 60% accurate.

How can anyone build a model and guess whether the Sars Cov-2 virus is more dangerous than Swine flu, or H1N1 or any other seasonal flu? With the new fad hand washing and sanitizing all the rage, it may be safer now then it was before the Corona Sars-2, but we will never know, there is no one that controls the numbers that gives a hoot about letting us know what the chances are.

Our guvnor is more concerned [in the paper] about us not finding out which rest homes have the highest kill rates, because it might be bad for business. They have stats, and are keeping those stats hidden better than the secrets to WOF.

I'm living dead center of the epicenter with the worst rates in the country per person, and the health dept. is admittedly not letting me know where the virus is worst. Facebook is the only informative source, and I don't have an acct. smh

I believe there is a single casino in Union Springs NY that is ignoring Cuomo (sovereign land?) and is open already.

I saw news about the opening of individual poker rooms here and there.

I just went on Seneca Niagara Casino website. If I wanted to book a room online, the EARLIEST date I could select was August1! Last week was supposed to be when they were at least announcing a re-opening date. Didn't happen apparently.

Looks like a tentative maybe perhaps, possible, who knows

For July 4th reopening of Atlantic City casinos

Governor Murphy gave the most non-binding assurance possible

Err, maybe not. Just heard from a friend, Rioting and looting happened in AC today.

Skip forward to see some footage of the looting. Update: Found better footage with no commentary.

I don't think we will still be rioting six weeks from now

Seriously?

You think the trial and jury verdict are expected within the next six weeks?

BTW, I don't think the rioting will be around in six weeks to stop the reopening of AC just to be clear this is still a discussion of gambling and not suspendable material

The officer in the video is already under arrest and the video is pretty straightforward, so it's possible given the media scrutiny. Not to mention, 4th of July weekend is in 33 days(not 6 weeks) and this current riot is 6 days after the Floyd incident occurred. So should anything else happen between police and protestors in the next 33 days, I wouldn't be shocked to see more riots and looting.

Which is why Murphy would probably err on the side of caution and not rush the re-opening of AC, in light of today's events and growing tension between police and protestors in the nation.

States will be too broke to even pay the police after June 30th unless there's a trillion dollar bailout to the states like immediately. National Guard gonna accept IOU's from the states in July?
