Maybe fakenews, idk. I do think that germs on the floor stomped on could potentially re-aerosolize.

If dust bunny's can get airborne, why can't virus hitchhike on dust particles?

I hereby resolve to wait at least six days before licking the soles of my shoes.

For those people afraid their shoes might come into contact with Coronavirus because they touch the ground

What happens if you drop your wallet or money on the floor. Will you refuse to pick it up?

What money do I have that I could drop? The cabbie who took me to the hospital cleaned me out of all my cash. I had ONE DOLLAR left and that is what the Pharmacy charged me to fill a departing prescription.

Any virus on a shoe sole would be weak and provide very little as to "viral load" All surfaces must be "at risk" to some degree, but life goes on somehow.

They use it comittently with whatever else they're doing, not just C.

Vitamin C is a good diuretic and will help avoid organ failure in extreme circumstances.

It is specifically noted to be greatly reduced in the patients needing hospitalization and this is the only reason they're trying it.

Idk if it's a thing or not, about the virus transferring from people stepping in it, and it sticking to shoes or not? Thought I'd put it up for others consideration. If it does get on shoes, and it does stay transmissable for a few hours or days, do you use your hands to put your shoes on? Then touch your face?

If it doesn't pass on that way, do we need to wipe our counters at home?

Here's a big picture idea for the future.

If your smart phone had a temp taker, every day you could take your temp (voluntary of course). It would ping anonymous data but geolocate and identify clusters of high temps. If you have clusters of high temps coming out of an area, you can potentially look to see if it's anything to take action on.
Quasimodo? Does that name ring a bell?
