If you had to bet on the Dow closing value for this Friday March 20th, and the only bet available was “Under 18500”, what do you think would be a fair value for that wager?
For instance, a 1 in 3 chance of it closing under 18500 would be expressed as +200 or 2 to 1.

It all depends on the Friday Press Conference at 3:30pm from the White House. It could go up 1000 points, or down 1000 points.
Anyway, I'd be betting the Dow hits below 10,000 within 45 days.

I would cross-reference and see when the COVID-19 tests get to Ohio. Ohio leaders estimate they have 100,000 infected, but there hasn't been any testing. If they start testing, and it's on that kind of trajectory this week, then there's a good chance it drops to that 18 figure.
A month ago, I said I expected a 3000 to 10,000 drop. I underestimated this badly, or overestimated the U.S. ability to respond with alacrity.

Dow futures down 700 so it should go down about 1400.
Might see 18500 a day early. Was within 400 points of it today.
