found a content error: Aria 1990... lol
tried mousing over for Stardust but not found.

how about adding projects in process like Echelon/Resorts World Vegas?

Whoops about Aria, thanks! I fixed it.

I added Resorts World/Echelon/Stardust.

I don't have every dead casino if it hasn't been replaced by something. (But maybe I do, I haven't investigated.) Getting all the dead casinos in blank space listed is a lower priority. Ditto for most non-casinos (like hotels without casinos), but I'll try to continue to improve it as I find time.

Michael, I have always enjoyed reading your pages and website. Great that you are updating it. I especially enjoyed the challenge you made as to gambling/betting systems. I linked it or posted a link to this guy who is basically a "scam" artist, Christopher Mitchell. He made a money challenge to Blackjack Apprenticeship/Colin for only $1000 saying he could beat him (basically a martingale). I commented and linked to his challenge YouTube your challenge. Of course I bet he never contacted you and my comment/post was eventually deleted. But if you ever get the opportunity, I would get a great humorous pleasure if you challenged him on his channel...........LOL

Here is a link:

I also posted a link to your Martingale calculator on a couple of his videos as a comment. They were deleted also for some reason.........wonder why? LOL

Thank you for the kind words!

My Betting System Challenge isn't available for blackjack for a couple of reasons. First, blackjack is beatable with card counting, and it's too hard to both craft a contract that properly legally rejects card-counting methods, as well as fend off would-be challengers who are trying to slip a card-counting method past me. Second, it's an absolute pain to program.

I guess I should have mentioned this in January, but January was the 20-year anniversary of Easy Vegas.

Could have been Dec. 2000 rather than Jan. 2001, I didn't keep records and my memory isn't perfect. First appearance in the Wayback Machine is Feb. 2001.

I didn't mention anything on the website, either. Kept it kind of low-key.

Speaking of 20-years, I first met the Wizard in person just over 20 years ago, Oct. 2000. To tell you how far back that was, he still had a day job, hadn't yet moved to Vegas, and the website was THEwizardOfOdds.com.

Yes, I remember that!

October 2000 was when I was in the window after leaving SSA and before moving to Vegas. That short chapter of my life was April 2000 to Feb 2001.

I also met the Wizard back during that time frame. I think it was the late 1990's when he had TheWizardofOdds.com website. Now I consider the Wizard a friend even though we probably only see each other about twice a year.

Well, my mistake then, I thought you were still at SSA in Oct. 2000. What did you do between leaving SSA and moving to Vegas? Started the consulting business but ran it from Maryland? I know the site didn't make much money in those days.

Yup, my income was mostly consulting then. I also made an easy 2K a month from the Golden Palace every month for a while, back in the glory days of bonus hunting.

I specifically remember I left on Good Friday, 2000.

Well, it just occurred to me to check my financial records, and I see that I registered VegasReference.com (the original domain for Easy Vegas) on Dec. 20, 2000. I can't say for sure that I uploaded the content the same day, but probably, so I'm calling that the birthdate of the site.

This also means that my memory was pretty good about the time the site started.
