Quote: RisingDoughHey all I am in Vegas for another week! Aside from rooting on a couple of friends that are still alive in the WSOP Main Event what else should I do, see, experience while I'm in town? I've been to most of the casinos over the years. Anything going on this week that any of you would recommend? Any AP opportunities to look into while I'm here? Any must hit restaurants? Can I get tickets to a GWAE taping? LOL
thanks,
RD
The food depends somewhat on where you are from. Vegas is an island of misfit toys, so the food is extremely varied. So, e.g. if you haven't had Korean BBQ, I'd do that.
The one thing I recommend to anyone is to have a Pan Roast, preferably at Palace Station. The lines are long but fast, so it's best to go at an odd time.
This is a dish invented at PS and indigenous to Vegas, and also effing delicious.
That looks amazing! What is it exactly?

The base or sauce or whatever is made mainly out of brandy and cream and it has some sort of spiciness to it.
The meat is seafood. You can pick what kind you like. There are a few different combos. I think maybe there is a chicken one, but I'm not sure on that.

Blasphemy!!! I sure hope there isn't a chicken option. The cream and Brandy is perfect for seafood.
At the Palace Station, can you ask them to spice it up for you? I want mine spicier than most.

It's one of those deals where you tell them how spicy to make it on a scale of 1 to 10.
I often like spicy food, but for me it doesn't go right with a rich and creamy dish.
Damn. Now I really want to eat here. We should have a gathering there.
title? Lawsuit..

I would be in for that. I haven't been to Palace Station in close to 10 years.
