I wonder what the marathon is going to do? Folks are going to end up with busted ankles running through the construction. Also, isn't the new football stadium going to open in that time frame?
My bold prediction for this project is that they are going to have a huge delay when they get to Bellagio. Didn't they have to go dark for a few days when the main broke a couple of years ago?

My probably unpopular opinion is that they should shut down the strip completely to all but pedestrian traffic. Make the middle just one giant walkway; add some shops, restaurants, free or low cost trolleys/buses/other transpo, maybe some rides...

it says they are only working m-thur 2am-10am. Shouldnt be too much of an impact

2am-5am is prime working hours. They should make it 8am-2pm, nobody's doing anything important that time
