I can not see this every happening. If they would agree with the feds even allow it?

I think the Feds would probably allow it because even together they would probably have less than 20% of the U.S. casino market.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I know nothing about our anticompetitive laws... But wouldn't localized competition have to be considered? Everyone knows that the strip is basically a duopoly, would the feds have a right to deny it based solely on making vegas less competitive? I'd argue yes since airlines have been forced to sell off slots at specific airports during mergers.

If each (MGM and Caesar's) was forced to sell off a few properties in Vegas, then I could maybe come around. In fact, I would enjoy having a few more independent operators.
Its - Possessive; It's - "It is" / "It has"; There - Location; Their - Possessive; They're - "They are"

I do think they would sell off some properties to make it go through the system.

Yeah the biggest issue likely would be the Vegas strip. And they definitely would be willing to sell off a property or two to make it happen.

Depending how much influence Sheldon still has. Steve is gone and I’m not sure Blackstone has any political juice. And we all know that is how these things are decided.

I am 100% against this and all such mergers. It's a terrible idea and very unfair to consumers. I don't think these companies need to make these deals to survive like so often said.
I am a robot.
