I saw some video (I think it’s like COPS but actually good) and the guy was talking about how some new drug called “Flakka” is going around and turning people crazy. It reminds me of the drug “Jingle Jangle” in Riverdale (I think that’s the right series). Funny name.
Either way, apparently that stuff messes you up. It’s like crack cocaine and bathing salts mixed together or something, probably.
Thats probably not what’s going on in Florida, but that place is either seriously messed up, or it’s running pretty far left on the bell curve. I wonder if anyone’s ever done a study on Florida and why/how so much wild s*** seems to happen there. Has Florida always been like this, or is it a new phenomenon (phenomena?)?
Any ideas why? AFAIK, Florida doesn’t really stand out in any particular way compared to other states, in terms of what could cause this stuff. Maybe Bermuda’s triangle?

The "spitters" were, en masse, the reason LBJ did not run again in 1968. They were also the reason we started withdrawing from Vietnam under Nixon. You can check their autobiographies and Presidential records.
It is not false on either side. It is acknowledgment of being wrong about those soldiers and recognition that they were serving this country as soldiers, regardless of the validity or morality of the assignment.

Not really sure why ATC and everything related to it is not considered essential. A law needs to be made to pay these people working, shutdown or not. Then take a look at all the people sitting at home. I think it's time to let a majority of them find employment elsewhere.

A decrease in jobless claims does reflect well on Trump. Though I don't know if he deserves unique credit for that. Jobless claims have generally decreased for the last ten years. Late in Obama's second term (October 2016), jobless claims had decreased to around 240,000. At that time it represented a 43-year low.
The linked article mentions filings by federal employees (not included in the "headline claims number") increased by more than 25,000. Now that's something Trump does deserve unique credit for.
