My feeling is that the sports betting is going to be the huge boost and this could be the reason that there is new life, otherwise there is nothing different about the city happening.
I was there the past two weekends and I've got to tell you... It was a freaking breath of fresh air! The dealers know what they're doing. It doesn't feel like a street corner game like the local casinos. The energy was all good. And, wait a minute... Wait a minute... Yes, I did lock up multiple W's, but that is not my point here as that is always Tuesday for me everywhere.
What businesses do you think would be good opportunity for a new thriving AC in the coming years? The obvious choices are bars, strip club, pawn shop, n restaurant. But thinking outside the box, I'm ready to capitalize on some type of opportunity, just don't know what yet. I'm not sure if real estate in AC would be the right move.. the cities adjacent to AC will always do well.
A rooftop bar.
A decent bagel store.
A Bubble Tea shop.
Perhaps a combination of the last two.

Zipline on Boardwalk - Fricken great idea! Get the millennials involved along with dj scene.
Rooftop bar - Absolutely!
Bubble Tea Shop - Love it! Asians are the biggest gamblers in the world... and my gf is Chinese.
A decent bagel store - ehh, Not so many Jewish people gamble.
How about a rooftop bar with hot massage girls, smoking not waitresses in Cheerleader uniforms (ala Hooters), Liquor in the front... poker in the rear, and a sports consulting office in back corner next to lounge sofas and tv screens.. bubble tea on the house!

Lots of people eat bagels besides jewish people especially in the northeast US
Also lots of jewish people gamble. Besides myself and the Wizard the entire movie "Casino" was about a jewish gambling main character

They'd eat bagels elsewhere if someone figured out how to make them right.
We have a place in Philly that bakes their bagels in a fire brick oven.. There are lines for blocks to get in every weekend. They are ridiculously good!
I don't think one can say a bagel is ridiculously good.Quote: WatchMeWinI agree, if there is an amazing bagel, people will find their way to eat it.. that can go with basically any type of food. Build something so amazing that no one else has and they will come.
