Things you are tired of hearing in casinos?

Here is a top pet peeve of mine

"I lost my rent/electricity money in the slots! I'm going to be screwed this month! I wasn't even supposed to be gambling that money in the first place!" It's hard to feel sorry for people who knew they weren't supposed to gamble with needed money and choose to do it anyways and lose it. I felt a LITTLE sympathy for an old woman who was crying and said she honestly thought she was going to get double her rent money and wasn't expecting the machines to be so tight and lose her rent money. That was one of the very rare times I felt sorry for someone who gambled away their rent money. Usually I'm very annoyed not sympathetic when I hear stuff like that.

Loud obnoxious songs playing in casinos annoy me too. I remember an older woman in her 60's saying something like,"I am a Grandmother in my 60's! Why would I want to hear this obnoxious and loud Techno music when I am trying to have a good time on the slots? I'm about to walk out in disgust because this loud Techno music is way too much for me! They need to be thinking of their older customers who don't want to listen to obnoxious and loud Techno music! " She was right. I also thought,"This Techno music is obnoxious, and I am in my early 30's! The Techno music was BLARING and made me feel uncomfortable!

So,what are you tired of hearing in casinos?

I love EDM in casinos; keeps things jumping for awhile, although it can get old.

Why do you bother to talk to losers like that on the casino floor?

If they're like me, they're there to gamble, not to hook up / make chit chat;
if they want to tell their life story to you they should be shunned.

I leave others alone, just as I want them to leave me alone.

Those who go to casinos in search of company go to the bars / lounges.

The only thing I get tired of hearing is "Seven out, line away."

On some machines you can change the language to Chinese or some such Asian language. It's really funny when they tell you to shoot the dice in Chinese.


I'm annoyed by people who sit on one machine and play the one next to it. Generally, they're the ones betting like 20c a spin and very slowly. A few days ago I actually saw someone doing that but she was playing 3 slots at once. I didn't investigate much, but she was certainly playing something like 20c a spin, very slowly, from machine one, to two, to three, back to one.

LOUD repetitive music; it should be background music.

If it were a baby, people would say "my baby needs new shoes", which would also be embarrassing to neglect a child if luck doesn't come in. It's supposed to be a gif, but often there isn't a gf.

Sometimes they do, but I don't know anyone that gets tired of hearing that.
