We have a pattern of statements and behavior that dates back decades that helps us get a glimpse of what's in the guy's heart. HE, not the left, has defined it.
Quote: BozI use the same phrase Trump used while adding “3rd World” to it weekly when speaking with telemarketers who are just trying to help me:
Reduce my CC interest rate
Extent my car’s warranty
Reduce my student loan debt
Send me on vacation
Fix my google listing
And other great ways to help me.
So instead of telling them to stop calling from their 3rd Sh*thole, I should give them my CC number beginning in 6011 and help a fellow human being out.
Maybe they are actually calling from my area code and are just learning English. I just can’t figure out why they call America instead of others in their highly educated and successful first world nation.
Or maybe, just maybe they do live in a sh*thole. The question then is what is our obligation, if any to try and change that while Trillions in debt?
Reality not racism but the left never misses a chance to define others.
You realize that all of those callers are calling from American-owned call centers. I used to consult at one of those companies with headquarters in Cincinnati, OH, whose customer based represented a cross section of Fortune 500 companies. The only reason they use those calls centers is because the cost of labor is 40% cheaper at an offshore call center. When you give them your Discover Card number, it is the American company (the call center company and the American company that gets the business) that profits. The call center workers, usually in the Philippines, India, Malaysia, are actually paid fairly well compared to the average wage in that nation, so simply by answering that phone (and saying no), you are giving them a leg up.
The proper course of action would be to write the company who is asking for your business (if you are actually interested in doing business with them) and insist that they use American call centers.
Of course, I don't understand when you are picking on telemarketers when pretty much 100% of the clothing and goods in one's home is manufactured in one of those "sh**holes", especially if it's cheap.
Quote: billryanTrump realizes the majority of his remaining base is overwhelmingly racist and eats this shit up. Reaction here seems to show he isn't mistaken.
The 'shithole' comment will cost him a few more votes, if he runs again. He just doesn't get that there are things that may be true that you just cannot say out loud. Someone with the same goal might have used words such as 'impoverished', 'poorly run', 'unsafe', etc... Calling a country 'shithole' fails on every level. I have friends who go to one of the shithole countries every year to volunteer on a medical mission. Of course conditions are poor, but they all come back extremely happy they went to help. The people there are very appreciative. I doubt those with actual experience there would use the word shithole.
We will have to go on a REAL apology tour after this POS is done.

Besides, how many here have eaten in a lousy restraunt only to later refer to the place as being a dump or a shithole? Does that too make you a racist?
Quote: KeyserBesides, how many here have eaten in a lousy restraunt only to later refer to the place as being a dump or a shithole? Does that too make you a racist?
It is most likely that people make that sort of comment because the food was lousy or the restaurant (correct spelling.. just fyi) was in serious need of some repair; not because of the color of people's skin, which is what the president did yesterday.
Let the “innocent “ kids stay, send the parents back and let Mexico deal with them. But of course that would NEVER be good enough for liberals.

Maybe I missed something, but aren't Haiti and El Salvador in serious need of repair? Is Haiti not one of the poorest countries and El Salvador not one of the most dangerous countries? What makes you think it had to do with the color of their people?
Quote: RSMaybe I missed something, but aren't Haiti and El Salvador in serious need of repair? Is Haiti not one of the poorest countries and El Salvador not one of the most dangerous countries?
Yep, they're real shitholes.
They should host the olympics.
Is that "LOL!!!" worthy too?
Or how about the time he took the full page ad out calling for the execution of the Central Park 5 and issuing no apology when DNA evidence exonerated them?
Or about the times when management used to order all the black employees off the floor in the casino when Ivana and him would visit?
Or about the time he said laziness is a trait in black people?
Or the time he was ordered to pay a 200k fine to accommodate a prejudiced wale who didn't want a black person dealing to him?
Or about the time he called Mexican immigrants rapists?
Or about the time he said all Haitians have aids?
Or about the time he said there were very fine people at a Nazi rally? Here's a hint. NOBODY that is a "very fine person" shows up to a Nazi rally and thinks to themselves, "Well, this isn't what I expected but I think I'll stick around and grab one of these torches."
I mean, seriously, at this point, if you're still supporting and defending this man, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Why do you suppose it is that the black population has had a more difficult time integrating into and finding success in this country than any other minority?

Racism!
When's the last time you heard of the Jews rioting and over turning cars and setting them on fire? How about the Asian immigrants? Hmmmm... could it be that it's because the left exploits them by pandering to them and using them as a weapon to divide this country by purposefully enraging them with false claims of racism?
Quote: KeyserBut skin color was never mentioned or referenced! Lol!!!
He didn't have to. The quality of the food and in state of disrepair of infrastructure has nothing to do with one's qualifications or desire to succeed in the US.
Throughout history, such s..hole countries have a history of emptying thier jails, and mental instituitons and putting these people on boats to send them to the US. Contrary to popular believe they don't send their best and brightest. Cuba (yes I know, not black) has done it several times.
So why do we let these s..holes get away with it?
Quote: KeyserCould it be that people assume his comments are racists because there arent any first world countries that are run by Africans?
Geez. There is a pattern of racist behavior and comments dating back decades. We don't have to assume anything.
Quote: Mission146I don't understand how closing a location completely if you're a major retailer with no notice to employees is in any way justifiable.
Justifiable to whom? To you? To me? To Congress or some federal agency? You are smarter than the above opening premise...you know business doesn't work that way in the US and never will.
Employees get laid off without notice every year...it's a tough break for them, I get that, but beyond feeling bad for them, what do you suggest? Govenrment mandatory notice and severance packages?
Screw that, go with Oz on this one...Walmart is costing the US taxpayer $62 Billion dollars, he has the link to prove it. Just shut them down and throw those 1.4M people out of a job...you're going to provide them proper notice, right?
Maybe the loud complainers here should focus on something real that might actually affect the changes they believe are so desperately needed, you know like the game plan for picking up House and Senate Seats in 2018.
When I look at the current state of the Dems and the seats that are up for election, it doesn't look so good for them. I am betting minority status in both houses again supported by a backdrop of a booming economy, pay raises and increased federal tax receipts under the current GOP lead WH/House/Senate administration. I bet an infrastructure bill gets passed before November, that is gonna suck for America as well. What nightmare is Rachel going to be espousing on her 11/7/18 show at that point. We can't possible get a better night of Rachel this November than we got in November 2016...it just isn't possible.
AMS, walk us through your detailed plan of 2018 races and how the Dems are going to gain a majority in either House or Senate? That would be a constructive conversation, but it would require critical analysis which is in such short supply on this thread.
Rather I expect the Left to carry on bashing on great US Companies that employ millions of Americans for this or that. I mean Carville was an idiot..."it (clearly is not all about) the economy, stupid". Keep spending time on the horror of that Russian Investigation and the latest DJT Tweetstorm (everyone rational knows he is an idiot on Twitter)...it is a Hillary-like path to political victory and it worked so well last time, I would definitely re-boot it in 2018. Stay laser focused on those distractions and let's talk in November.

The issue is not whether the countries are in need of repair. Donald was railing against letting immigrants from those countries here, while saying immigrants from a country like Norway would be more acceptable to him.
So please save any further gaslighting for another date and time.

The top is Haiti before the earthquake and the bottom is Norway. However there are plenty of people that want to continue denying reality.

So do you deny the general history of immigration to the US is people coming for a BETTER LIFE?
Unless im uniformed we have not decided as a nation to only accept people who are doing well and dont need to come here for a better life
Case in point. Norway issued a statement saying no thanks to any immigration favoritism. They dont need to come here. They already are happy in Norway
Btw - Norway well to do - welfare system in place
Haiti - poor impoverished - no welfare system in place.

So well said. Thank you.
All of what you said is true. Also true is that Trump is unable to control himself. No real filter. But, unfortunately, or fortunately?, so what! Lower taxes, higher wages, less illegal immigration, booming stock market, etc.... While the libs will say "Russia", pee tape, Mueller, Bannon, grab pussy, Orange skin, liar, fraud, the American people, or at least enough of them, will hear higher wages and lower taxes.

Hopefully enough people will believe we don't need Trump -regardless of their views. And if they do, that's really sad, and nothing to be proud of.

The Tontons Macoutes would fix that sh*thole.
(from Wiki)
"While recovering, Duvalier (Papa Doc) left power in the hands of Clément Barbot, leader of the Tonton Macoute. Upon his return to work, Duvalier accused Barbot of trying to supplant him as president and had him imprisoned. In April 1963, Barbot was released and began plotting to remove Duvalier from office by kidnapping his children. The plot failed and Duvalier subsequently ordered a nationwide search for Barbot and his fellow conspirators. During the search, Duvalier was told that Barbot had transformed himself into a black dog, which prompted Duvalier to order that all black dogs in Haiti be put to death."

Guys the explanation is probably so much simpler
Most likely walmart notified the local authorities that 100 workers were going to be showing up to a closed store and it was decided to have an officer on site to avoid traffic issues as well as any possible disgruntled employees
