Wow. Thought that was just in movies. Worth a watch, but needs you to listen closely to get his point.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Interesting that you say "Listen Closely," see thread: "I think the casino music is making me crazy."
I could hear the difference between the two. The second having more of a knocking sound when released, compared to the first which was closer to the "zuzsh" sound I would expect. I can guess that if a casino was to deploy such a device they would not keep it in play full time. To which, it is also believable that whomever may be selling these, also includes a non-modified version that is off-balance/out-of-round enough to sound similar. (Just in case there is a lul in the music.)
Not likely to be used given that a detector for the triggering signal is available and correlating such to the landing time would be a dead giveaway. Possibly more difficult to compare if they use it to target a quadrant and "kick" it out of initial orbit. Would only take one person and a laptop with access to a video feed, most other employees would be unknowingly complicit.
Don't forget, "FREE" is a four letter word.

Maybe this is just what the game needs…. Dealer passes a button each spin and the players get to influence the action.

I think the youtuber is referring to live action internet based roulette vs being in a real casino, where the cheating device is off camera.
Statistics don't lie, they deceive.
