Quote: MathExtremistNow who's saying they're better? Sheesh. You make it clear that you think you're better than millions of Americans who think it's preferable to work together as a society than to let the unlucky fail, even though they're unlucky through no fault of their own, but through the deliberate malfeasance of the moneyed class. Yet you elected a member of that moneyed class to lead you. Toward what, further failure and economic segregation?
I'm guessing you consider yourself as one of the Americans who think it's preferable to work together as a society than to let the unlucky fail, correct?
If so, what happened on Nov 8th that is stopping you?
I wasn't elected president, and the man who was has campaigned on a platform that is diametrically opposed to "working together as a society." I cannot recall any recent national figure stoking racial tensions the way Trump has over the past 18 months. There are reports all across the country of inflamed tensions between Trump supporters and detractors. He has blown on the smoldering ember of vague resentment, allowed it to flare up, and directed it inward. It seems likely there will be further and more pronounced violence before it subsides, and that is entirely Trump's fault.Quote: Maverick17I'm guessing you consider yourself as one of the Americans who think it's preferable to work together as a society than to let the unlucky fail, correct?

So let me see if I follow this. A bunch of people who hate Trump riot, and somehow that is Trump's fault?
I hate to break this to you, but Obama and other liberal race-baiters have been soaking the rags with kerosene for years now. His winning was just the janitor walking into the shop with a lit cigar. Maybe you have been missing the BLM riots and illegal alien demonstrations the last few years?

Well, MLK had nothing to do with peaceful demonstrations. That's Sarcasm in case you aren't getting it.

You might want to practice better at it. MLK's demonstrations were supporters. So I don't get the connection.
Denial as predicted. You can't seriously think Hillary was a good choice on her own.Quote: beachbumbabsYou.thought wrong.
Quote: BozGeneral guess? I would disagree with large chunk and I think that is part of the problem Dems have. They can't seem to grasp that there are normal working class white people out there that feel like they are forgotten. That doesn't make them racist. It is no different than someone thinking most blacks are lazy, thugs or criminals.
Generalization doesn't help anyone.
Indeed.
Even with Pepe the frog. If you never heard of that kind of stuff, or 4chan before the last year or two, you don't understand it. Some of those people really hate Jews. Most of them just like saying stuff they are not supposed to say and irritating people.
My transition's been the other way. I've slowly come to understand that a lot of people really are very literal minded and take things like words on a screen very seriously.
This season's South Park really is a masterpiece.
p.s. people hate Jews mainly because they are successful. But, that's different than anti-zionism. Many Jews hate that sort of thing, including the one I'm married to.

Hillary came in a close second, colluding with identarian journalists to portray Sanders supporters as misogynists and bigots, often resorting to complete fabrications, like the claim that they were protesting bi-lingual proceedings during the Nevada primary.

Pretty sure they were called protestors at the time they were protesting Jim Crow laws and so forth.
MLK called for peaceful demonstrations.

You are still missing the point that MLK led the protestors/demonstrators. The latest rioters are against Trump, not for him.
No you don't.Quote: MathExtremistI know how this country really works,
It seem like MaxPen knew how this country works. I know he was doing some trolling and F-ing with people here by making some outlandish claims, but it's spooky how when listening to him in person, about how all this would go down.
Basically a bunch of smug toddlers having a temper tantrum because mama didn't buy them the latest toy.
Good: let em pound and smear their entitled excrement on the walls: that just provides more reasons to laugh at them.
Those spoiled, coddled parasites have long needed a good dose of REALITY shoved up their pampered behinds, and by thunder now they've gotten it.
I didn't vote for Trump; I would have, had there not been a Libertarian running.
Clinton is a venal, corrupt loser.
Adios, biatch!
LOL.Quote: AZDuffmanMaybe she had to focus group test one?
Not sure why people are rioting or protesting, they should be celebrating with the rest of us she did so well and came in 2nd. I didn't even place. :( Let's not be a divided nation, but one that sticks together and does indivisible stuff together. Amen.
Quote: RSI think more voted for Hillary because she's a woman (debatable, some say she's a reptilian. Thoughts, MaxPen?) than those who voted for Trump because he's a man).
A picture is worth a 1000 words ;-)
Quote: DRichWhat is everybody's thought on why Hillary didn't give a public concession speech early Wednesday morning? Her campaign manager said at 2:03am that they would wait for votes to be counted and not have any comments. At 2:30am Hillary calls Trump to concede. My suspicion is that she did not prepare a concession speech because everybody expected her to win.
She was hammered.

No I'm not.

Tell the Republicans to do that these last months while they still can. They can pull some extra sessions in the spirit of unity and passing legislation. I got some ideas. So does Obama and the Democrats.

Sounds like a threat. Still want to take people's 2nd amendment rights away? Don't let the hate get the best of you.

Now that you mention it, no, but if I did I'd probably only allow guns legally for the old, feeble, handicapped and probably most women. Young and middle-aged men have proven way too stupid to own them.
