Zzzzzt nope, Still on their record.
Anyone done that successfully? If so, what was the time frame?
That was actually the only time I tried that, and I'M zero for zero.
In the 90's, the Atlantic Club was called Bally's (I think park place or maybe that's the other one but is was a Bally's property.) I signed up for a players card.
They were sold to Hilton and then a few years later sold again and changed to Atlantic Club.
I figured it was a new casino even though it was in an old building. Tried to sign up for their new membership offer and they said I had already been there a decade prior.
I pointed out that was a different casino at the time and they told me they had inherited all the old customer databases.
So, bottom line, even if its your first time in a casinos business, if you have been in that building and signed up years earlier, you are not a new member.
Now, there is one chance to being considered a new member and that is when a casino is sold off and they have sister properties in the region.
For example, When Trump Marina was sold to Golden Nugget, they did not sell the customer databases as that would have competed with Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Plaza. Entering the Golden Nugget was like the first time even if you had previously been in the building.

I have to politely disagree.
Remember, this all started before there were players cards. I had a credit line at Harrahs. I eventually got a players card at Harrahs but not Trump.
Trump Plaza opened in 1984 without a gaming license. They partnered with Harrahs which opened in 1980 to run the casino, until they got the gaming license.
Trump Castle opened in 1985 and later changed their name to Trump Marina in 1997. It was sold and it was renamed The Golden Nugget in 2011.
When I went to get a players card at the Golden Nugget, they told me that I already had an account. How could that be? They just opened.
I figure it went like this. My credit line with Harrahs went to Trump. When the Golden Nugget bought the Trump Marina, they also received the players data base. When I asked to see the information at the credit office, they produced a folder! Yes it was a folder that had a home address that was at least 11 years old. That's how long it was since I lived there.
Quote: WizardofnothingTo further that- they did a tier and offer match from any other casino in jersey
My wife got the tier match but I couldn't get it.
(shrugging my shoulders)

The Indian casino outside of Winnipeg kills your account after twelve consecutive months of no use and will sign you up for a new card with $10 in slot play. The government casino in Winnipeg kills your card after 18 consecutive months of no use and also gives you $10 free slot play for a new sign up.
Tropicana is the worst/best at going back forever.Quote: DJTeddyBearA couple years ago, I went into the Tropicana AC. I don't remember ever having been in there, but they said I was there about 14 years prior. They gave me a card with the old number which I eventually found in my files. Also gave me the new member offers.
