Nothing new or earth shattering, but a decent read nonetheless. Involves Richard Munchkin and James Grosjean.

Why does the Shawnee casino use a computer-controlled shuffler when a $20 machine from Bicycle would suffice?

Wow! Whatta great read!

Some years ago I had an acquaintance who was better than average at dice control. He would go to Atlantic City and hit 10 casinos in a day, usually taking about $500 each. True, sometimes he lost. But, he won often enough that several of the casinos informed him he would no longer receive casino comps or gaming offers. He didn't win enough for the casinos to trespass him, but they noticed. He called the casinos his own "ATMs," and said his winnings bought him a condo on a Caribbean island country, right next to the local casino. Very kewl dude IMHO.

Now, as for myself... I'm such a bottom-feeder that the pit feels sorry for me, even when I'm winning. But, who cares? Watson, the game is afoot!

Did anyone else notice the line quoting Richard Munchkin as saying " I know people who clock roulette wheels and others who can control a single die at craps.”

Given the current opinion of DI in the AP community, I'm curious if that was a misquote.

Not sure about the craps thing....but I don't believe clocking a roulette wheel is that especially hard.

Considering what he has on his website I would say yes: http://www.richardmunchkin.com/2011/12/dice-control-not.html

Unless there was some proof he saw since then that we dont know about...
Assume the worst, believe no one, and make your move only when you are certain that you are unbeatable or have, at worst, exceptionally good odds in your favor.
