Thanks
Edit: just to be clear, these casinos are much worse than vegas overall. For example, in Vegas, I'm earning $0.01/$10 bet playing 9/6 JOB. In MN, I'm earning $0.01/$10 bet playing 8/5 JOB. So, same "okish" comps, but drastically worse base games.
We get pretty comps at lake of the Torches and also Carter in Wisconsin, where I play mostly table games. Ho Chunk
not so good. North Star has triple points on Sunday nights, so you can rack up some comps there on the
table if you want.

Thanks for the replies. Does this mean you always use a player card at Indians? Is it the house player cards are where most comps come from? Just starting to look at comping.. and must read a thread here real soon as I bet there's one directly about what comps are so I don't keep asking dumb questions. But thanks.
Everyone should use a card. Oftentimes AP's try to avoid using their players cards in certain situations.Quote: sammydvThanks for the replies. Does this mean you always use a player card at Indians? That itself sometimes causes red flags, however it's easy to come up with a legitimate reason you're not interested in getting a card.
Lots of ploppys don't use them either.
I can't think of a good reason for a non AP to not to use one unless it's going to kill your trip average.

Thanks Axle. My situation is I only visit certain casinos once or twice a year all over the place. I guess I thought indian casinos don't comp much for infrequent visitors. Plus I noticed all casinos have now gone to 5 year card subs, gone are the yearly free plays and stuff and getting a new card every year to get those.
That would probably leave one to just the daily's and whatever promo's going on that week/weekend.
I just didn't think I was using my players card effectively to make it worth it. I wouldn't even know how to earn food vouchers. Maybe next time I'll just take an hour and read all the literature. Wouldn't hurt.
Have a good profitable weekend.
