It may exist already; but my "search-fu" is week, and I haven't found it.
I am looking for a guide of sorts on the different players clubs - in Vegas as well as the Gulf Coast and heck, anywhere there's a casino.
Seems to me, if we want the most bang for our play, we'll need to do some homework on how the respective player clubs work in each casino.
CET - all those casinos are affiliated, so it's a fair guess to assume that what's good for Harrah's on the Gulf Coast would apply to Harrah's in Las Vegas. But, probably not precisely the same. Since there is more competition in Vegas, you can probably get a room comped more easily, but I haven't been to Vegas in over a dozen years, so I can't say.
Details like X amount of coin in generates Y points, good for Z in cash back or so much in comp dollars.
I have established a bit of a relationship with my preferred casino here on the Gulf Coast, The Palace Casino Resort. (because it's non-smoking)
But, they don't let me use free play on video poker - so I want to play more at Imperial Palace. I suppose I could just ask them at the IP how much coin in they require for comped rooms on the weekend, but it would be nice if we could collect this kind of information for easy reference.
Since other casinos have non-smoking areas, it may be a better deal to play at those instead of IP.
Has someone done this already? Is it feasible? Do they change so often that it would be tough to keep updated?
Just asking. Thanks.

You're trying to hit a moving target, I think. There are constant changes, new promotions, promotions dropped without notice, and proprietary marketing info (including and especially calculating comp rewards) throughout the industry, so what works for one person won't work for the next. As soon as someone publishes a book with tips and guides, it's obsolete, so you're best off with current anecdotes, trip reports, and websites (IMO).
One of the better websites (besides those who post here) for that is lasvegasadvisor.com, not just for las vegas casinos, but to get a good idea on the larger chains, like Boyd, CET, MGM, who have casinos other places.

If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

There could never be a list like this. If there was then thr casinos would change it. What there really needs to be is an underground channel for this and if there is then you are not going to get the info on a public forum.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.

For base rate of what points are worth and how much coin in to obtain points, vpfree is more or less accurate for Las Vegas, to a lesser extent markets like so cal or AC, spotty for a lot of other areas. Beyond that, good luck.
