I can understand some people going to store but to leave garbage and flip over things is just "rediculous"

The photos posted are bogus. They are from an out of print book by Ron Foster.Quote: GWAEI can understand some people going to store but to leave garbage and flip over things is just "rediculous"

That was funny. Equally as funny as your signature. I just realized 30 seconds ago that it is a signature.

I don't expect to leave my apartment over the weekend, but I'm pretty confident everything will be back to normal come Monday.

I keep a stocked pantry, two months worth of

this week for 90 cents a can, usually $1.99 a
can. I got 40 units and will go back for more.
Three months of food is my goal, Mormons
keep a years worth on hand.
That's the old essentials. Some years ago, milk and bread were replaced by beer and cigarettes. TP is still essential. Not sure if cigs are still up there...Quote: Wizard... especially milk, bread, and toilet paper.

That alleged Safeway store is apparently the most well traveled supermarket in the history of the grocery universe.

The vodka goes without saying. We already assumed that. :)
Only an AP would talk in terms of units when describing cans of soup. lol.
I was debating spending the weekend in AC, comping a few nights, and parking my car in the casino parking garage (where for once it would probable be safer than its current location). But, being snowed or flooded in a casino for 3-4 days straight, probably would not be good for my bank account or my liver so I decided against it, even though now as I get bored sitting at home alone (girlfriend is out of state), I am starting to wish that I did. At least the electric and internet is still up, and pipes are not frozen, so its not all bad, all things considered.
I hope the flooding is not too bad where you are. Did it hit your house?Quote: GandlerI live in Ocean City (NJ). And, last night we got a lot of snow, but then as the sun started to rise it shifted to rain, and flooding, and the one good thing about the flooding and rain is that it washed away most of the snow. I hear it will shift back to snow after sunset though, so we'll see.

Hopefully AC did not get hit. I have a friend who recently moved there (I have no idea why), and he lives between Pacific Ave. and The Boardwalk. Low-lying.
I love snow, it beats the hell out of 110 degree heat.Quote: GWAESnow is fun
Snow day was the best 2 words to hear when I was a kid. Unfortunately they had you make it up.

Yeah that is about as close to the beach as you can get and is really low lying. I have no clue what AC is like today, but I would imagine that would not be a good neighborhood when there is flooding.
But, I am pretty lucky, I am on the highest street in my town so I don't get terrible flooding. So no, no house damage or anything crazy like that.
