Hi everyone

Nice to meet you all
I got a question straight away: How do I know if an online casino is secure and safe to play at?
I know that sometimes casinos provide a regulation page and I read online reviews like I recently have done for Windows Casino. From the looks of it, these guys seem very safe and legit - at least that's what I got from the website and the reviews

Should I start playing there? What do you think?

I wouldn't really say spam yet, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt, as many normal spammers start gushing about tips about how to "get rich," at a Casino. This kind of looks like an innocent question to me about an Online Casino he wants to see is safe or not. To answer his question, I'm personally not comfortable with using my bank card online due to all the hackers out there. Welcome to the WOV forumsl! :D

The only answer I have for you is, you don't necessarily know. Unless you click through one of those advertising on this site. The Wizard has checked them out thoroughly, stands behind these sites if you click through, and if you have any difficulty playing with them, will help you resolve it.

If you're going to play online, I would suggest you use a Wizard-approved site rather than one you found randomly.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Other than the wizard approved sites which have been explained already, my suggestion would be to play at a state regulated online casino where you can call the gaming office if the site gives you any difficulty.

In NJ they legalized online gambling about 2 years or maybe longer now ago. And, since then the only place I'll play online is through legal state regulated casinos. In NJ the online casino has to be run by a real brick and mortar casino which operates within NJ, and you can play anywhere within state lines (you have to agree to GPS location verification), but you have to play in NJ (you can get around this with proxies, though I wouldn't recommend because this can void all winnings if you get caught).

Even though you have to be within state lines to play you don't have to be a resident of the state. So you can live in New York and drive over the state line to a Starbucks or something and play on your laptop.

I don't know how many other states allow legal brick and mortar casinos to open up a state based online casino for that state, but that would be my suggestion for online play, NJ has them and I'm sure others do or will soon too. And, this seems to be the way to play, I have never had an issue with payouts, bonuses, or awards from playing at a state Casino. Oh and you earn comp points for your account for your casino, so if you play at your favorite casino, it's a good way to build up tier points amd conp credits and such if you don't have a chance to get there in a while.

There are some authority websites dealing with reviews and rankings of online sports bookmakers, which by extension should cover the respective sites casinos as well. Here is two:

Xxxwww.sportsbookreview.com/
Xxxwww.bookmakersreview.com/

Maybe there are some respected and neutral casino review sites as well out there, need to do some researching.
Don't beat yourself up over past mistakes, you are going to f*** up again in the future, quite possibly in the most spectacular fashion, why worry about yesterday's f*** up's when you have tomorrow's f*** up's to look forward to? You are a f*** up, and f***** up is part of your growth process, embrace the process.

Have you checked LatestCasinoBonuses?

Go to their "All Casinos" page and see their review of Windows Casino.

Its like the city slicker who while crossing a pasture called out to the farmer "Is that bull safe?". The farmer's response of course was 'Darn sight safer than you'.

What you really mean is how safe is your money and for that you must rely on others.

If there are few complaints and most of those seem to be promptly resolved, you might as well risk some money there but its best to stick with the rated casinos that our Fearless Leader has given the Wizard Stamp.

Personally, I enjoy the camaraderie of a 'real' casino but its your money so you decide.

I don't think there is such a thing as a "safe casino".

Always play for free games in any online casinos. That way all you can lose is your mind .
