4k technology is amazing, but now it is finally affordable. I just saw a 50" 4k tv at Walmart for under $700. That's a really good price and I think 4k tv's are going to be a hot item for Christmas 2015 because of this new price range. If you haven't seen a 4k picture, it's stunning. NTEK is a supplier of 4k content, services and hardware and should be right in the middle of the 4k world.
Just as important, NTEK has split off and basically dropped the ridiculously dead weight of the Las Vegas "gaming" division. The research and development and profit sucking expenses of the pinball game and whatever else they are doing will be off NTEK's books. Brilliant move by the big bosses cut the anchor loose and it should show up in the financials over the next year.
So we'll see what happens. I sold my GLXZ stock and took the profits and put them in NTEK. 45,000 shares this morning at .0216. Could it tank even more and be a .01 stock? It could. But I think it's more likely to bounce to .04 or .05 by the end of the year for some easy money. Time will tell...

Probably not a company I will be investing in.
.
Quote: DRichThe good thing about NTEK is that the current worst case scenario is that you lose two cents. What concerns me is the lack of disclosures. Where are the 10Q's and 10k? This is a stock with 750,000,000 shares outstanding. Penny stocks are always scary and many have been associated with scams. I believe NTEK's Chairman of the Board was accused of fraud and theft from a previous partnership and was also arrested for some sort of loan fraud.

No doubt a risk. They keep putting out stock after saying they won't too.
I'm not looking for a long term investment here. I'll take a jump to .04 or .05 and probably run.

Quote: AxelWolfSo is Ahigh still with this company or what? Will we never see the AP PINBALL? HOW SAD, SERIOUSLY, I LOVED IT. I still think there's a market for it somewhere (assuming they can make some changes) Perhaps NJ with the new skill game's aspect. Im not saying this thing would've been the next lobster mania. I just think its something where mos casino's would've wanted at least one.
I think he's still with the Las Vegas Gaming Lad. NTEK just split it off into a separate company. Now it's going to have to stand on its own, which looks like trouble to me. Maybe they'll save the day and listen to all of us who said that pinball game with classic pinball built in would be a killer for the home market.

If I wanted a pinball machine at home, I would buy a real pinball machine for my home.Quote: Zcore13I think he's still with the Las Vegas Gaming Lad. NTEK just split it off into a separate company. Yes, but what if you could get 25 classic pinball games in one machine? Or download new ones anytime you wanted?

It's still not the real thing and that's the problem IMO.Quote: Zcore13Yes, but what if you could get 25 classic pinball games in one machine? Or download new ones anytime you wanted?

but I could do that on my computer.
My favorite pinball game of all time is Indiana Jones.
BTW, NTEK is at a current 52 week low.

I loved Black Knight, Terminator and Fun House.
On the stock, exactly why I bought it. They are ridding themselves of a huge expense in the Gaming Lab and stocking up on 4k content. I'm hoping that makes a difference. $900 risked and hoping to turn into $2,000. Could turn into $0 - $500 as well, but I like the risk. I did the same thing with GLXZ and won on that one. Got my eye on a few more as well...

I am still banking on my 11,000 Adelphia cable shares that are worth $300. I did well with them. Bought $1000 when they were at .10, sold at .24, bought again at .11, sold at .20. Bought again at .06, then they went bankrupt. I pulled my money plus some more and still have 11,000 shares. Now I just need them to become a real company again.
But I will pass.

Quote: DRichI wonder why that article did not mention the owner is in prison? Lol
Or that they cleansed themselves of the money sucking NTGL off their books.
