I just purchased it and am a few chapters into it.
It's written by one of the people who robbed the Casino Arizona of two million dollars. This is his story of how he came to America, lost money to the casinos gambling and decided to take it all back - at gunpoint.
The final outcome is no secret as you can google it and it says on the cover. He almost got away with it but is currently serving 17 years in prison for the crime.
Enjoy!
It is just $0.99 on Kindle now. Bought. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00OZ0S9WC/?tag=12169-20Quote: darkozJust thought I would recommend a new gambling book out called Arizona Dream.

This memoir is over 400 pages long and very descriptive and well written. Perhaps when Adnan gets out he has a career as a writer.
I don't know about Arizona law but probably he is making no profit from the book. Most states have laws against profiting from your crimes. I feel the book is a very honest portrayal of the events since he has no reason to exaggerate.

like a movie script. Problem is, if the author sold
the rights I don't think he could get the money because
he's still in prison. Isn't there some law that says
you can't profit from your crime while your still
doing time for it?

Yeah, most states have laws like that. Most of them insist that profits would go to the victims -- direct victims which in this case would be the casino and the employees injured, regardless of how minor, and then to the state which is a victim financially for the cost of criminal costs to apprehend and convict.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly that. It times out just right, several twists, morality tale, sympathetic villain.

I mean, look at it. A third is about him
building a good business from nothing,
a third is about them losing a mil in the
casino, the last third is them taking months
prepping for the heist. He actually away,
sweats it out in an old folks home, and
gets away eventually. Even if it didn't
really happen, it's still a good movie
because it has everything. But it did
happen, which is even better.
When I heard he couldn't get the cover
off, I knew immediately what happened.
Cars ran over the lighter material and
jammed the into the hole. This is what
happens when inexperienced young
people do things. This is where your
experience comes from. They needed
an older guy overseeing them.
