My trip has 3 goals: Watch a few shows, play a few low limit poker tourneys and obtain as many free stuff, free/advantaged gambling and cheap stays via coupons.
Referring mostly to the latter, I seek your help - Where can I obtain the best coupons via books (e.g American Casino Guide), membership sign up and hotel stays?

I think this is the one

Edit: since http://advantageplayer.com appears to be down/defunct, is there a current source of coupons a hotel would give you just for staying? Trying to figure out if hotel hopping is worth my while
I'm a European so I don't find myself in the States too often, let alone near the West coast.
If you're really hurting for food, The Orleans has a free upgrade to a large popcorn, which comes with a free refill. 2$ for way too much popcorn.

Shows are, to me, over rated, but you can find three 'half price' firms in town and you can wait until the show is about to start and get some real bargains sometimes.
Cheapest hotel rooms are FREE rooms from Comps in return for your "action" at the tables, but its hard to get on your first trip.
Do take a look at your bank roll and remember that a free Mon to Thursday room is often a snap, but Friday to Sunday nights alot of places get stingy.
You can get half price buffet tickets from a few websites and print them out on a public access printer.
Poker? Count on VISiTING the poker room at the Venetian. Its the most luxurious poker room in town and I think the only one that stands ready to spread Chinese Poker anytime there are players for it. I heard they comp at two dollars an hour but that information is so old that you really should not rely on it.
Get a card from EVERY place you enter, even if you enter the casino just for the air conditioning. Get a players card.
Trinkets like free dice, free cards, free keychains usually are not worth the trip, but free is free.
Don't forget if its your first trip to Vegas. An extra pair of walking shoes and a habit of drinking water are the best things to acquire. Any casino will comp you to some quality of booze, water or coffee. The better casinos are more generous usually but top tier casinos such as Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio, will often have table minimums that make low budget visitors only "visit" and not play there much. Their top quality buffets are very expensive and some say not worth it. Its often more sensible to aim lower and have shorter lines.
Don't forget to check websites just before coming to town so you know about which casinos are offering what.

For one thing, if you have Facebook, start playing MyVegas right away and you might be able to rack up enough points for a night or two. In my limited experience, casinos will still give you the coupon book if the stay is free.
Secondly, any current information on New Players Club promos might well be useless by the time Summer gets here, anyway. Shoot me a PM about a week before you are to leave and I'll call around and see what the New Member offers are for you. I relied on advantageplayer.com for my information, would have saved myself some walking (after already having walked a ton that day) to call and verify things were still ongoing. I walked from Riviera to what was then LVH for no reason...lol
You then stiff them and never get anything comped from them again, but there's plenty of places in town you can burn doing this.
If prices won't inflate, I already bought myself a night. I'd might be able to get one or two more.
Does the point accumulation gets better or should I just stick to the Facebook game?
Quote: noy2222I started also playing the mobile app. It seems a lot slower (300 LP after 2-3 hours of playing) and a lot less automatable.

It gets better, you just have to get to Level 20, or so. The LP accumulation sucks for BJ (in my experience), so I don't bother actually playing...I just do the daily spin every day to see if I get the LP's that way.
