Quote:... I always leave well ahead...
Maybe you are asking the wrong question? How can you always leave well ahead? Why would you ever leave?
Over how many sessions? You could just be running good in the casino and averaging out online. Its like flipping a coin. Over enough sessions you shouldn't be ahead every time in the casino anyway.Quote: burningHi I have posted this before and got some negative feed back. I play at the local casino standard rules and continuous shuffler. I play basic strategy and use my own type of money management. I always leave well ahead and haven't lost in the last two years. Why is it when I play online using the same system I always get cleaned out.
One logical reason could be.... an online hour is like playing 3 to 5 real casino hours, you get so many more hands out online. The more hands you play, the more likely to lose.
The real question you should be asking yourself is.... Why do I keep banging my head against the spot that has a nail in the wall, my head keeps bleeding?
Keep banging your head on the spot with no nail and hope for less bleeding.

So for 2 years you've played basic strategy at a continuous shuffler and always come out 'well' ahead? I don't believe this at all, but if it is true you should retire from blackjack as you've peaked your variance.

Now that actually made me laugh out loud. Not even the fake lol type. Real sound came out of me.

Me, too. Unfortunately it's also a personal insult. 3 days, sabre.
Quote: Wm. Shakespeare (@Macbeth, Hamlet, Henry IV part I, et al.)False face must hide what the false heart doth know.
Thou wert best set thy lower part where thy nose stands.
Be not lost so poorly in your thoughts.
Sense sure you have, else could you not have motion; but sure that sense is apoplex'd.
I think thou wast created for men to breath themselves upon thee.
<...etc...>
Would it really be a "personal insult" if the subject would most likely not be able to figure out whether they've been insulted?
Y’are a baggage.
You are intolerable curst!
O monstrous beast, how like a swine you lie!
You irksome, brawling scold.
How foul and loathsome is thine image!
You swearing Jack!
A vengeance on your crafty wither’d hide!
You mad-brained rudesby.
Thinkest thou, any man is so very a fool to be married to hell?
You madcap ruffian!
There’s a small choice in rotten apples.
You are rough, and coy, and sullen.
You one half lunatic!
You logger-headed and unpolish’d groom!
You whoreson malt-horse drudge!
Thou thread, thou thimble!
You whoreson, beetle-headed, flap-ear’d knave!
Thou flea, thou nit, thou winter-cricket thou!
You heedless jolthead and unmanner’d slave!
Away, thou rag, thou quantity, thou remnant!
You are froward, peevish, sullen, sour!
Preposterous ass!
You may go to the devil’s dam.
Thou hilding of a devilish spirit.
No mates for you unless you were of gentler, milder mould.
You are lewd and filthy.
Pray you stand farther from me.
I’ll feeze you, in faith.
Go to thy cold bed and warm thee.
I’ll comb your noddle with a three-legg’d stool.
You fiend of hell!
You are curst and shrewd!
Here comes the rogue.
I’ll knock your knave’s pate!
You are a senseless villain.
I would not wed you for a mine of gold.
You are a proper stripling.
O this woodcock, what an ass it is!
Minion, thou liest!
Whence grows this insolence?
You rascal fiddler!
Let him that moved you hither remove you hence.
Asses are made to bear, and so are you.
Come, come, you wasp; in faith, you are too angry.
You crow too like a craven.
You must not look so sour.
You wrangling pedant!
You old pantaloon!
You are a frantic fool.
Nay, look not big, nor stamp, nor stare, nor fret.
You are a little pot and soon hot.
Away, you three-inch fool!
Come, you are so full of cony-catching.
You peasant swain!
Get thee gone, thou false deluding slave.
And this penultimate exchange:
“Petruchio: Come, come, you wasp; i' faith, you are too angry.
Katherine: If I be waspish, best beware my sting.
Petruchio: My remedy is then, to pluck it out.
Katherine: Ay, if the fool could find where it lies.
Petruchio: Who knows not where a wasp does wear his sting? In his tail.
Katherine: In his tongue.
Petruchio: Whose tongue?
Katherine: Yours, if you talk of tails: and so farewell.
Petruchio: What, with my tongue in your tail? Nay, come again, Good Kate; I am a gentleman.”

Is the personal insult suspension due to the word 'filthy' being used in conjunction with liar, or would the word liar alone be enough for suspension?

No wonder it took me so long to be a fan of Shakespeare, my teachers never got to the good stuff!

Hmmm, "burning" avers, in his FIRST POST EVER ON THIS SITE, that " I have posted this before and got some negative feed back."
How could he have posted that before if it is his first post, unless he's a sock puppet?
Followed up with " I always leave well ahead and haven't lost in the last two years."
So those are two statements, each of which are patently absurd on their face: a clear attempt at trolling.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with challenging his veracity in that regard.
So was sabre punished for daring to challenge, or for his method in doing so; and if the latter, what would be the acceptable way to raise the credibility issue?
Might not use of the expression "filthy liar" be seen as naught but a rhetorical shortcut, and thereby applauded for its economy?
Props to sabre He took one for the team.Quote: beachbumbabsMe, too. Unfortunately it's also a personal insult. 3 days, sabre.
Question.
When the next guy claims 30 losses in a row. If I were to say, "if sabre was here he might call you a FILTHY LIAR." Would that be considered a personal insult?
