Bellagio tops the list!
So, having read that, what is your favorite hotel in the world…?
Please provide links and pics if you can
lot of reasons.
Valet parking drop off and pick up are
right off the casino floor.
Elevators are in the casino.
Front desk is right by elevators.
Casino has a Fremont St entrance with
other casinos just feet away.
The three roulette tables are all together.
Has a good cafe and a great restaurant.
Rooms are OK and cheap.
Best pizza DT.
Elara Review
But with comp'd nights from Rio/Bally's/Paris, we haven't been there since 2012.

Hmm interesting choice but not unexpected from you Bob :)
I cannot tell if whether going against the grain or schadenfreude is your raison d'être

Yep, laundry in the room is a nice touch. I went to LV back to back with a 1 week business trip and then a FULL SIZE washer and dryer definitely was very handy to have. On that trip, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Desert Resort, which is just past the High Roller ferris wheel. It was a nice place to stay, but more family oriented than millionaire-ish.
Interesting to see:
#3. Caesars Palace
#10. Wynn Las Vegas
I always had the impression that THE Hotel (or whatever it is now ) at Mandalay Bay was trendy, exclusive, and nice. I have also seen very good reviews of TRUMP up by the Fashion Show Mall on Trip Advisor.
I am not a big fan of St. Thomas but I do love staying at Frenchman's Reef every time I have to be there

If you've stayed in a lot of Vegas hotels,
little things mean a lot. GN has their
elevators half a mile from the casino.
Plaza has a 200 yard hike to the valet
pickup. The D casino is too crammed with
machines and table games and too loud.
Fremont hotel rooms are too small and
shoddy. Any Strip casino has poor access
to other casinos. I like Binions as well as
4Q, but their hotel is closed. I liked to
stay on the first floor in the old part,
right over the casino. There's an old
elevator right in the casino that goes
there and bam, I'm in my room.

Too a certain extent, I agree with Evenbob.
I also like the 4Q and the short walks everywhere.
Too me in a town where I end up doing a ton of walking, short walks are a luxury.
I stayed on the strip once and tried the 20 dollar trick and it worked.
Got a big room with a huge bathroom.
Will never do the 20 dollar trick again.
I like a small bathroom, after stepping out of the hot shower, bathroom is nice and warm.
That huge bathroom in the upgraded room, too big for a hot shower to warm up, ugh, was freezing stepping out of the shower.
Give the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur or the Peninsula Hong Kong.
Quote: teddysI've stayed in almost every hotel in Vegas. My favorite hotel is NOT in Vegas.

I stayed at the Peninsula Hong Kong. Loved it. Fabulous service.
Was travelling with my Chinese mom. I have no taste, she does, only place she considers staying when in Hong Kong :-)
The PEOPLES Republic of China needs to listen to the PEOPLE of Hong Kong.
so I need a nap at 5pm. The less walking
the better. When I stay in the north tower
at 4Q, the elevator lets out 25 feet from
the Fremont St entrance. I can go from
4 hotels DT, to my room, in less than
5min. And I do it all the time. More time
to gamble, less time screwing around.
Having TWO large, highest quality showers to choose from with marble everywhere was over the top for a basic suite.
Otherwise, I enjoyed The Empress in Victoria B.C. quite a bit: understated English elegance.
Try their afternoon high tea.
In the overall US....a tie between the W Fort Lauderdale & Hotel California in Palm Springs. Both unique in their own way.
Overall the nicest hotel I've ever been was the 5 star all inclusive Majestic Elegance (Club elegance, butler included) in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
