Martingale is always a pretty solid system.

HI OPT II with ace side count.
Wong Halves.
Zen.
These are the most effective. The question is where are you now with your counting? These counts take time to learn and execute properly. Why the Golden Nugget? Are you staying there or are the limits lower than the better double deck games?
Currently I know hi-opt 1, but I have the veritaje(spelling?) program on my computer so I will practice a lot before my trip. Long story, but I was did ok (won more than lost) my last trip using hi-opt1 playing SF21, but since I know that isn't a good game I am trying to learn. It appears this DD game at Golden nugget is my best option.
Thank you very much!!!!!
Let hank you very much!!!
Quote: 88mango88Awesome! Thanks! I am trying to be very transparent that I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING but I have time and resources (time to read and training software) so....I am staying at Go,den Nugget so Please what game/system do you suggest?

A 1-12 spread on that game at that casino is pushing it. Don't be surprised if the tap comes. They like to do it when you're losing.

So, just never lose.

He was referring to a 1-8 spread. Where did you come up with 1-12?
Quote: kewljWhy the hell is everyone rushing to the DD game @ GN? There have been at least 3 threads on a couple different sites in the last couple days about that game. That game is a counter trap. What it will earn you is a fresh listing in OSN. There are better opportunities with less heat in the town, immediate vicinity and even same casino.
Good to know KJ. I never thought of the GN as being a counter trap. What is OSN? Some kind of new Griffin? What's the best source to find up to date info on which casinos are more tolerant than others?
Quote: mcallister3200OSN=Oregon surveillance network, yes it's pretty much the new Griffin. GN shoe games are fine, the dd is the counter trap, similar to the mgm stores.
What ever happened to Surveillance Information Network?
I used to think the DD S17 DAS DA2 $25 game at the Mirage would be a counter trap, but I spread 1-8 and never got the tap (I usually opened for $75). I'm pretty sure they only have one DD S17 table. (They used to have a couple tables just west of the cage, then they got rid of those and had only one next to the High Limit room. I haven't played there in about 3 years, so perhaps things have changed.)

Senior moment? I guess I thought the two was a three. Thanks.

Get out there and play :)
Quote: beachbumbabsOn GWAE, Richard also recommended you do your own scouting, however, in discussing Ben Affleck's backoff, he also said the Wynn knew he was counting but did not back him off or cap him, while the Hard Rock and at least one other property did. So perhaps that's a good choice.
A very, very rough rule of thumb is that the smaller the casino, the more they will sweat the money. But there are always exceptions and gradations.

would wynn do this to us common folks as well?
if you also need to use your chips to count and only deviate from basic for insurance, I would hope so!Quote: Neutrinowould wynn do this to us common folks as well?
