I like most all sports but I never had much time for golf. This sounds fun for a gambler golfing or visa verse. Any value to a guy that golfs, since its probably for gamblers and not golfers? I wonder if i can register an alternate(ringer)

Anyone in Vegas got a set of clubs I can borrow? I don't feel like hauling mine all the way to the desert.

Golf tournaments attract enough people who fudge their handicaps that the honest player does not have the chance / advantage they think they have. If you fudge your handicap, go for it.

Truer words were never written. I played in a CZR tournament a couple of years ago. As a 10 hdcp, I was the 'A' player on our team. The winning team was 24 under par. I've played in a lot of tournaments, and seen many good teams, but never saw 24 under before.....

They eagled every par 5, and I'm quite certain they had eagled two of the par 4s. I may not be recalling the score correctly, although I think 48 was what they posted. I remember it being ridiculously low. Rio Secco was the course

I don't say that there aren't a lot of sandbaggers out there but like in gambling variance can kick in. I have only shot below 90 twice in my life and that was 2 rounds of 80 back to back when my cap was 24. It was not a tournament and my friends and I didn't even have any money game going on. If it was a tournament nobody would believe I was legitimate.
