I did 25 years as ATC. Then, surprise, I'm a game designer. lol...one game, anyway (so far). I think it's a matter of mental agility rather than age. I know women who were set in their ways at 10; my sister was one. Then there are others like me who are eternal students of the world.

Yes, that's it: being away from Weds thru Saturday consistently with the reason being gambling would be hard on any relationship. If you did this and were a multi-millionaire, it may make a difference depending on the situation, but from what I gather, you are not.
If you kept it down to 1 to maybe 2 days a week you'd probably find more partners to be accepting.

1 day a week isn't worth that 5 hours total bus ride from Port Authority.
I'm really there just two days a week. Wednesday late night until Saturday morning. I like this because I'm around for 4 calendar days of matchplay pickups. Plus, I have days off at my job so it's not like I'm never around.

You just want to find someone to accept you for you. Someone who doesn't "prejudge" gambling/casinos. Someone who doesn't agree with your ideas on the casino, but has no problem with you going because it's what you love? Not to much to ask. But if you are not willing to give the same to other people, don't expect to find it any time soon.

Best way to go is... Skip all the way down to the bottom, randomly pick something she said, and write a message that includes how strongly you agree with whatever that was. Then hope she's gullible enough to think that means you read everything. If she's a hot girl than she's got 200 messages in her inbox and you're lucky if she ever reads yours anyway.

Yeah online dating can get a bit much and it is really a lottery because whatever you find attractive, pretty much 80% of the men on any dating site finds attractive too.
I have found that quantity works. Hit up all the hot girls and someone down your list will eventually reply. At least then you have an average to decent looking woman on your arm.
Remember, a hot chick belongs to everyone, an average one is yours for life!!! :)
