I realize casinos have to be on the defensive from scams, and cheaters. However I find their paranoia to be a little bit funny. and yet unsettling at the same time. Or maybe their paranoia is adding to my paranoia. I say this with a sense of humor of course. However, let me ask this question. Are most casino employees wired in to some type of audio communication? I think the pit boss is, but I am not sure. I recently was taking a photo of a slot machine I thought was cool looking. I took several pictures. However I soon started to get this vibe like I was being watched by floor level casino personnel. It was as if their was this silent level of communication between them. Strange feeling. I have good intution, however I don't ever invest much emotional time in worrying that I am being watched by casino personnel.

Cocaine can induce paranoia. Kidding. Your sixth sense or vib is probably right. The casino sweats everything. It's all about telling you what you can't do…..

Thanks for the reply. Also, "Paranoia Will destroya". LOL.

I don't, nor in the past have I used any type of drugs. An occasional beer here and there. I have good street smarts though.

Generally, you aren't allowed to take photos in a casino and it's up to personnel in the casino to enforce those rules. Casinos really don't like you snapping photos around tables (particularly of people), and ALL table staff are trained to tell patrons to turn off their cameras.

So, when you started snapping photos, someone in security or maybe even someone in the pit noticed. Surveillance might have called down to the floor to keep an eye on you.

Once my wife came into the casino looking for me. Though everyone at the casino knew us, the staff wouldn't tell my wife if they had seen me, though they clearly had. Casinos take privacy very seriously.

Hey TreeTopBuddy,

Speaking of Cocaine, and Paranoia it is interesting that you brought that up. You know, I was once reading about Ken Uston, and before he died he suspected that he was being followed. He supposedly partook of Cocaine, however I think his paranoia was probably legitimate because of his lawsuit which centered around him being barred from the casinos.

Interesting hugh?
