It would be nice to give them to someone RESPONSIBLE who dose not get to Vegas often, or someone who has a low budget.....OR JJ ;) *looks over shoulder for GF, * scans room for Duck tape*
Edit: Now if you hear from JJ, I'd be willing to let her share in the goodies. And there shouldn't be any trouble since I'll have my chaperone with me.
Quote: AxelWolfI have some extra rooms and food comps at various places I cant use and I will just let you have them. (over the next 5 days or so, possibly V-day as well) I prefer to give them to people who are not AP's just trying to save a buck, or people who have plenty of comps and money anyways. Nothing against AP's or rich people ..If you AP's ever need anything just PM me.

Perfect, be sure and take a selfie of you and Axel
and post it here.
The rooms or the Duck tape? I didn't realize you were in or coming to VegasQuote: juiciejenniei want it!!~
Bob if you have not noticed, although I don't hide from people by any means, I don't go posting public pic's of myself, machines I play, wins etc for casinos to see. I have given up various public financially rewarding(some not) offers and opportunity's for this reason. It comes down to risk VS reward. Perhaps I could just PM it to you.Quote: EvenBobPerfect, be sure and take a selfie of you and Axel

Is this used to tape ducks together or made from ducks?

JJ, when are you coming to Revel? I can contribute 13 resort dollars. Use them 1 to 1 resort wide!
Ok, I will see what I can do. Are you 100% sure you are coming? If so when will you need to know?Quote: juiciejennieohh i was planning to come to vegas on feb. 18-20th around those dates
I will have DJatc come and bring lots of chippies for BJ.
Since you like Mazda Miata's, I will have DJ bring his car, but since it's a 2 seat'er someone will defiantly have to ride in the trunk......I'm at least ridding shotgun, so I just hope you can drive stick and know how to secure someones wrists with tape.

Yeah, you're the casinos worst nightmare. In your mind..

I'm not sure how he feels about photos posted up on the net.Quote: Beethoven9thAxel, you gotta post a picture of JJ and djatc. :D
Quote: Doc... I already have our rooms booked -- two nights at Cosmo, two at Rio, then ....
Just checked in at the Cosmo and we are delighted with the room: 36th floor, 1200 sq. ft., with a wraparound balcony facing south toward the Aria and east to Las Vegas Blvd. Not our usual accomodations, but we will probably decide that the Rio suite is too small.
;-)
Quote: IbeatyouracesThe rooms there are sweet. We stayed early last year on the 54th floor facing north looking down on the Bellagio fountains.
I was in Vegas 10 days ago and never looked out
the window once. I can't remember the last time
I even opened the drapes when I was in Vegas.
My wife either, it never even occurs to us. The
room could face an ally, I would never know. I'm
a local who doesn't live there.
Interesting since you give an extra 20 bucks for a nice view.Quote: EvenBobI was in Vegas 10 days ago and never looked out

Quote: DocI think the sights here are an important part of the fun. I can't imagine visiting and never even looking around. I have previously posted panoramic photos taken from the Rio and from the Eiffel tower (Vegas version), and I might post the view from this room.
Please do. I enjoyed the others very much.
Quote: AxelWolfInteresting since you give an extra 20 bucks for a nice view.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!
My last trip to vegas I stayed at the Rio, and got a pretty high floor with a strip view. I liked it, but wouldn't have paid extra for it.
My question... is it against the rules for the check in person to accept tips? If it is not, I'm guessing it would be hard to stop the $20 sandwich thing. I do agree with Bob, that there will be some times that the clerk may say sorry, no better rooms, but see the $20 then magically find one....
That's the only way one can do this experiment. I'm not saying it never works, I just think simply asking nice works almost as well as the $20.(i'm not talking roadside dives) You can ask any hotel clerk/management what the policy's are on upgrades, when you simply ask for one, they will tell you, it depends on availability. If they have them and you ask, there is a good chance you might get it with or without the $20.Quote: SOOPOOLOL!!!!!!!!!!

I would never give plug nickel for a view. I give $20
for a suite on the lowest floor possible as close to the
elevator as possible. I hate long elevator rides and
long walks to the room. At Binions I always requested
the first floor rooms in the old part of the hotel, that
you can reach with that elevator right in the casino.
It was small, but who spends any time in their room
in Vegas. I like a suite if I can get it because it usually
has a jacuzzi at the 4 Queens.
A suite at Binions and 4 queens should be a total of $20 from the start.Quote: EvenBobI would never give plug nickel for a view. I give $20

Binoins is closed, don't you know that? The 4Q
hasn't been that cheap in 20 years. And it's for
the whole stay, not one night.
You are right that's why i don't think that's considered an upgrade, and I don't understand how they have any good suites on the first floor near the elevator. I can always tell how nice the room is going to be, once I realize its at the END of the hall in the corner. No wonder Bob thinks the $20 works, he is asking for the rooms, no one wants, at the worst casinos. Binions had to be the worst LV rooms I ever stayed in. To be fair I never stayed at the western or Cortez.Quote: IbeatyouracesI want as far down the hall away from the elevator as possible. I can't stand the trampling and noise of everybody coming or going.
I know Bob thinks he knows about Hotel Rooms and he insinuated I didn't l, But I estimate I have stayed in at least 1.5 rooms per month for the last 15 years. That dose not count traveling or the months at a time I would spend in Laughlin. I'm staying on the Strip right now.
Yes I know when the Hotel closed down, It was upsetting, I had to Fly back to Vegas, since I was out of town, just to clean out my Safety Deposit Box, before they drilled it or whatever they were going to do with it. It was the one place left they didn't care how long you kept the Box.Quote: EvenBobBinoins is closed, don't you know that? The 4Q

I have ear plugs and noise suppressor industrial
muffs I wear when I stay in hotels, I never hear
anything. And the 4Q has a suite on the 2nd floor
right after the elevator, I've stayed in it several
times.

I agree about a view. I cant remember even opening the curtains.
But if I can be far away from elevators and ice machines...I am golden. Near elevators I am getting the most people as possible walking past my door...going too or from the elevaror. And out of those people there is always a percentage that has no perception that there are peoiple sleeping just a few feet from where they are talking in a loud irritating tone....at 3 am.
For people that sleep like a rock....I can see no problem. But I would rather walk an extra distance to my room...to at least have a better chance of not getting awakened during the night.
I'm sure they do, I have a drastically different Idea what a suite is then you do.Quote: EvenBobI have ear plugs and noise suppressor industrial

This is generally me too, but I regretted it when I stayed at Flamingo. Longest walk to the elevator I've ever had.
In reality I don't really care at long as the room is nice and its not small. I might be with Bob on being as close to the casino as possible, but normally the nicer rooms are at the end of the hallway near the corner and probably higher up. I have asked for rooms close to the casino and close to the elevator and I get downgraded.Quote: LarrySI agree about a view. I cant remember even opening the curtains.

Longest walk I ever had was using that stupid MGM MyVegas comp at Delights, my girlfriend drug me to (she worked/played hard earning, I felt bad for complaining) NEVER AGAIN.Quote: tringlomaneThis is generally me too, but I regretted it when I stayed at Flamingo. The floors are so uneven there it is like walking through a fun house
Quote: tringlomaneThis is generally me too, but I regretted it when I stayed at Flamingo. Longest walk to the elevator I've ever had.
Longest walk I ever had was right after I lost $1,000 down a WOF machine because I was trying to chat up the waitress :)
On the weekdays, I'd rather be closer to the elevator. On the weekends, I'd rather be as far from the elevator as possible.

I had a box there for a lot of years too.
care of elevator noise. Stop being held hostage to your
own limitations. Who cares what the room is like as
long as its clean. Who spends any time in the room
in Vegas. Been going to Vegas 40 years next year, I
have it all narrowed down. F the view, who cares. I
want a room with a short elevator ride, close to the
elevator. I want an elevator the empties out right
into the casino. I play DT, so that's the 4Q. The best
action in Vegas for players is still Downtown, take
it or leave it. I go to the Strip for fun sometimes, but
DT you can move around all you like, in minutes. The
Strip is for tourists, always has been.
And that's what people who don't live here are period.Quote: EvenBobThe

Jennie! My offer of $13 Revel Resort Dollars still stands! You could get a torta from the taco truck with that! You'd probably have to shell out for a soda though...revel didn't get to number one in AC by giving stuff away.
