Quote: djatcI saw an extremely attractive girl sit down at a mini-bac table at PH a few months ago. She was ridiculously hot, like model material.
Was she Asian? Occasionally, I'll see some very, very attractive young Asian women playing bac. Rarely do I see any young, attractive white women playing. Unfortunately, though, most female bac players are grouchy old Chinese women who yell at you if you bet the opposite of them. lol

Yeah she was juicy. There was a cocktail waitresses that make tons of sidebets, and you could tell she worked there because she knew everyone at the pit and was reasonably attractive enough. She was the only non-Asian girl I've seen at a bac table.
When I used to play my GR8 system was to always bet with the women. Betting against them can't be good luck, and so I explained this to every table I played at if we both had opposing sides. Eventually the system wasn't GR8 enough and I started betting my way and won more. Obviously the house edge does not affect bets made against women. Or a win streak that is about to go sideways on the tracking board. Or since I play greens to never chip up to blacks. I traded black chips back and forth like a tennis match.
Don't think they're not pros either gambling trying to get out of the work. It's said to be pretty common with the slave women because their masters won't take them anywhere else and do it because it will keep them in sex slavery longer. All just massive generalizations, but true when they're true.
Quote: onenickelmiracleI've always had a similar opinion stating good looking girls don't gamble because they have no need when they can get a sure thing pumping a boyfriend for money. Then the women I mention this to ask me if I'm implying they're not good looking. Oh no not you, you're good looking.
I think there's something to this attractiveness idea because I've looked around and thought the general population is better looking than what I see here. You can see some hot women strolling around, though they are walking around not gambling and are probably explained to only being there because their boyfriends are there gambling trying to win a few more months of her.
I have been at blackjack tables with some stunning women, Caucasian no less. They were by themselves, and definitely knew for the most part what they were doing. I would agree though that this is the case few and far between, but it does happen.
I'm putting all my money on this.Quote: AcesAndEightsit could be a rather sophisticated prankster, who found that profile and impersonated a woman on WoV who matched all of those facts.

I'm a good-looking girl and I gamble. That's usuallly all I want to do when I'm in Vegas. Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, 3Card Poker, progressive Slots. Maybe I'm just the exception.Quote: Beethoven9thRarely do I see any young, attractive white women playing.

Hmmmm.... sounds like an interesting bet, if we had a way to resolve it for sure, either way.
How much money are we talking about?
Well I think it's actually either a man or a woman who does not fit the description of a hot woman or the woman posted on here. I think it's all a prank.Quote: AxiomOfChoiceHmmmm.... sounds like an interesting bet, if we had a way to resolve it for sure, either way.

Yup, me too. I'm willing to bet on it, too, if we can find some reasonable way of being guaranteed to verify after the bet is made.
HotBlonde, were you serious about wanting to bet on it, or was that just a figure of speech that I'm taking too literally?

you and hotblonde should bet a yummy meal. the yummier the better.
I'd bet $20 if we could let the Wizard be the one to verify. How would he be able to verify that it is NOT her though? Maybe we'd have to give her a time limit to reveal herself in person to the Wiz where he can verify it's really the girl in the pics, and if she doesn't show or respond by that date then we can consider it all a hoax.Quote: AxiomOfChoiceYup, me too. I didn't think HB was serious about anything she said possibly jokeing, I know I got a chuckle.Quote: AxiomOfChoiceYup, me too. I'm willing to bet on it, too, if we can find some reasonable way of being guaranteed to verify after the bet is made.

I think JJ might be real however she is all about the money.
It probably only takes one time, for a hot chick to go play blackjack and have some high roller start making $500 bets for her.
I can only imagine if a hit girl could perfect this craft it would make over 1k per day.
Of course I'm serious. I put up close to $1,000 in my weight loss challenge. I can put up $20 on this bet.Quote: AxelWolfI didn't think HB was serious about anything she said possibly jokeing, I know I got a chuckle.

Probably. I'm not going to try to claim that it was a bet for "all her money" or anything. Still, worth checking :)
Quote:I think JJ might be real however she is all about the money.
Yeah there is no doubt about that second part in my mind.
Also she may very well be back in LA by now. Who do we have down there that could meet her and check her out (u-huh, I said it :) )
Man I hope we don't get too many more hot chicks come on here.....we won't have enough time to discuss anything else LOL
I live in LA. I could attempt to meet her. But it's better for the sake of a bet to get an impartial 3rd party to verify.Quote: TomspurAlso she may very well be back in LA by now. Who do we have down there that could meet her and check her out (u-huh, I said it :) )
you consider 20 bucks serious? I would find any of this hard to prove. The terms would be convoluted and hard to prove. No matter what the situation I doubt she was up to anything positive. It's all negative EV other then entertainment value. She probably found herself a sucker. No matter what the case, it has been one of the most interesting entertaining thread's. I'm always excited to see a new post. If there's any chance she is the real deal most of the guy's here are excited a fake 9 or 10 is sometimes better then a real 5. Personaly I have a smart skinny younger HB so I real or not real has no effect on me.Quote: HotBlondeOf course I'm serious. I put up close to $1,000 in my weight loss challenge. Reminds me of Ginger in Casino. (The book was a lot better than the movie, imo but that's pretty much every situation.) I went to a buffet at the Wynn once and oh my goodness the talent has been hiding in there. Hot girls with 2 or 3 min bets on a $100 table would sure catch the attention of guys with $10k on the rail. Maybe she will instigate some hardway bets and if they hit bam 9 to 1, if not she can hustle another table. After all, if you're getting a free shot why not bet the highest payouts, like promo chips on roulette numbers if possible? Good God what a monster I could create....
Quote: HotBlondeI'm a good-looking girl and I gamble. That's usuallly all I want to do when I'm in Vegas.Quote: Beethoven9thRarely do I see any young, attractive white women playing.
No, I meant baccarat specifically. It's fairly rare to see non-Asians playing bac, let alone young, attractive non-Asian women at the table.
If she is real, I have a feeling she hangs out with a younger hot elite crowd with money.Quote: HotBlondeI live in LA. I could attempt to meet her. But it's better for the sake of a bet to get an impartial 3rd party to verify.
She probably wouldn't want to meet up with you, unless you brought some BJ money. I have a feeling she chip hustles in LA normally. Since she was here in Vegas, She wanted to make some extra money.

My main concern would be, the fact that she refuses to meet you (or some impartial party) does not resolve the bet. It doesn't necessarily mean that she isn't the person in the pictures.

That assumption, if she is indeed a girl, I believe is spot on.
If she is real and doing modeling Job's, she may have realized this could bring her some negative reactions when finding work. If she were to be found out as a chip hussy.Quote: AxiomOfChoiceMy main concern would be, the fact that she refuses to meet you (or some impartial party) does not resolve the bet. I usually only play at the $100 minimum baccarat tables in the high limits room. But yes, there are usually Asian people in there with very few white guys sprinkled in.Quote: Beethoven9thNo, I meant baccarat specifically. Quote: HotBlondeAnd I'm sure there are not that many models at this event (if any at all). If she was really there then someone would have spotted her by now.
Actually, the CES Show is huge, and there are a lot of models there. Maybe we should have gotten djatc to scope out the scene for the forum. :D
Quote: HotBlondeIf she was real then how come nobody spotted her during the CES event? We have "her" picture. And I'm sure there are not that many models at this event (if any at all). If she was really there then someone would have spotted her by now.
I see you have never been to a technology event, there is generally models every where. It is like a car show or comic Con. Sex sells.

Going to Comic-Con is on my bucket list. When I'm in the US I'm so close to SD it really isn't a big deal to go but I have never gotten my ducks in a row to make the journey!!!
Can't wait to see some nubian space babes or hot Ewok chicks!!!! :)

not for me, not ever, not as long as I have a breath in my body and lead in my pencil :)
That's so funny. So it's about technology but they have tons of women models there. Sounds awfully silly to me.Quote: TranscendI see you have never been to a technology event, there is generally models every where. It is like a car show or comic Con. Sex sells.

Your comment precludes the idea that women could be either into technology or tech savvy?
.....and perhaps even more shocking that hot chicks don't like computer geeks???? No, I simply cannot accept your rationale :)

So when you think of the people who may attend these events...what comes to mind? More than likely it is probably someone you would consider a "geek" or "nerd" generally someone who probably doesn't have the most experience with women. Now with that said, don't you think having a hot, attractive woman there may draw in prospective clients and or buyers to check out their product? You cannot be so foreign to this concept can you?
I was thinking the same thing. I came up with yesQuote: TranscendSo when you think of the people who may attend these events...what comes to mind? I do find this odd. You don't go to women's events and see tons of scantily-clad men showing off the products. I just don't see how electronics and hot women have anything to do with each other. It's just funny to me.Quote: AxelWolfI was thinking the same thing. I came up with yes
It really is true when Dr. John Gray says that Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus! We operate so differently it's like we're from different planets altogether!

True, but if there was scantily clad men would it not draw you to that both...if not for what they were selling but for the eye candy?

I agree. Simply because women have not yet figured out that men can also be used as sex symbols at large expo's doesn't mean it isn't so.
In fact, I think Martha Stewart should promtly get her an "assistant" on her shows that works with HIS shirt off and abs popping so that women can also get in on the eye candy revolution.
Then maybe men can also complain that women only see them as objects and nothing else :)

They are slowly catching on, take the movie "Magic Mike" for instance.

One movie called "Magic Mike" and another 5,000 movies with women alluring us men into doing silly things :)
Seems like they are slow learners.

I know which side I would rather be on to. Merely saying maybe we are the ones who are slow to learn that seed also sells in our case.

I'm well aware seed sells and I'm also well aware that I love it. I love the fact that we are so easily manipulated and that we can be controlled like puppets. It is what we do and it is what women do too.
I'm good with the way nature has allowed us to evolve, otherwise what would be the point of our existence?
(Ok don't mean to get deep, that wasn't my reasoning here :)

I guess I could rip my shirt off and sell you some cake. I have a gut, but wouldn't you rather buy cake from a fat guy then a skinny guy?
Such a true statement.Quote: djatcI guess I could rip my shirt off and sell you some cake. I have a gut, but wouldn't you rather buy cake from a fat guy then a skinny guy?
Quote: beachbumbabsI sort of get the model thing, and sort of don't. Definitely put the eye candy out front for attracting the buyers. But relying on them to sell the product with a couple hours briefing on how to demo it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. CES brains may tilt on eye candy, but they respect fellow brains who can go into the weeds with them from bitter experience. Gotta have both, unless the product can speak for itself. (Which at CES, is increasingly common.)
There will always be the geek who knows the product in the booth...they just have the models out front to draw them in. It would be haphazard to have the models trying to sell a product to geeks.
