Mine is actually Explorer's Day. Not on the list, but a federal holiday. Fall is my favorite season, and the holiday is all about exploration and discovery. "Space: the final frontier" and all that.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Thanksgiving because it is a near-end of year reward to have the time off. Lots of other reasons as well but I just like it best.

Bigotry day for sure. But of the more standard holidays, Christmas. I hate looking for gifts though.

Well, Christmas is out because there is too much "stress" trying to figure out if I have bought enough for the Mrs vs what she bought for me. Plus some other history there I won't go in to. The nice things is that there are 2 days off from work + 2 more for New Year's + some mandatory days off. So this year I am taking off 2 full weeks. I like that.

So after that ? I guess maybe Thanksgiving...
