say you are looking for a one time coin flip to double your bankroll.
im pretty sure ive read on here to go with the bet with the lowest house edge.
something i noticed is if betting banker is in baccarat there is a 9.51% tie.
in roulette there is a 5.88% chance of a green number coming up.
shouldnt an even money bet in roulette be a better bet
what am i missing here?

You don't lose when the tie comes up in Baccarat, its a push for all banker and player bets.

There's only a 2/38 = 5.26% chance of green showing up on a Double Zero table.Quote: jpprovancein roulette there is a 5.88% chance of a green number coming up.

One other thing you're missing is that on a Single Zero table, green has only a 1/37 = 2.7% chance of showing up.

Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

At my local Indian casino those are the official rules, but you have to keep your eyes open and stay real alert because the Bacc dealers there will try to snag my Banker bet when I have a winning Tie bet.Quote: AussieYou don't lose when the tie comes up in Baccarat, its a push for all banker and player bets.

You continue to play at a casino that tries to blatantly cheat you? Or is it dealer error?
