Getting to Red Rock

We'll Be staying at Rio for 5 days in April. Wife wants to check out Red Rock. Perfect! I need a Stations card to take advantage of their sportbook app. I'd rather not rent a car (requires too much responsible behavior), so I'm wondering about cab fare out there or is there another alternative?

I have heard it is pretty expensive. I don't know why someone doesn't set up a bus to go directly to those places since so many want to visit.

Red rock has a free shuttle to the strip and back several times a day. Drop off/pick up point is at the fashion show mall, the side entrance near the 21 forever entrance (across the street from Trump). I am not sure of the pick up times. You may need to call and ask. You do NOT have to be a guest of the hotel to use the shuttle, although guests have first priority. I have never seen it anywhere near full.

Second alternative is the public transportation buses. The sahara express bus which surprisingly enough runs on sahara ave lol will take you right to the door of Red Rock. It is the last stop and brief layover. If you have a Deuce/ strip express pass, that works on the Sahara express as well. If you don't the cost is $2 each way. You can take the strip bus to sahara and then catch the sahara express.
