An Irish company broke Irish laws and then shut down to bring themselves into compliance. In Ireland.

Reading the story between what I should be doing at work. But appears some of the trades violated more Han Irish law so pressure came from outside.

Intrade seems to have done well because it was real people with real money on the line rather than pundits, but US regulators were baying at them and it seems Irish regulators were concerned about money laundering, so its utterly shut down.
