Hi all... please can someone help...
If i have a games board with 20 tiles, 8 of them are losing tiles and 12 are winning tiles... to win I need to pick all 12 winners..? What is the probability and odds of guessing all correct winning tiles..? I can calculate for each individual event... like I have 60% chance of picking the first tile correctly... And 55% for the next and so on... but what are the odds of getting all 12 right without picking a loser..??
Help is hugely appreciated... :-)

if you have to pick all 12 good tiles in 12 tries, it's easy....
12/20 * 11/19 * 10/18 * 9/17 * 8/16 * 7/15 * 6/14 * 5/13 * 4/12 * 3/11 * 2/10 * 1/9 =
1/125,970
12/20 * 11/19 * 10/18 * 9/17 * 8/16 * 7/15 * 6/14 * 5/13 * 4/12 * 3/11 * 2/10 * 1/9 =
1/125,970
