Couldn't agree more. Obama is going to get slammed tonight. If you have watched the first two debates you know that Obama is useless without a teleprompter. Expecting to see the knockout punch tonight leading to a landslide victory for Romney.

One needs to be drunk to listen to any of the BS these guys are gonna spin tonight

Drink every time either candidate actually lies (partial-truths count as lies) and you'll be dead in half an hour.

People are still calling Planned Parenthood to
get those free mammograms Obama said they
did in the last debate. They don't do them at
all, let alone for free. Thousands have called
so far, on their Obamaphones no doubt.

I'm not a Dem but I will say in fairness that when my wife to get her first Mammogram she was not required to make a copay. I think that is what is meant by free...misleading but free to the user until HMO's jack the rates to recoup the loss.

Good! I'm sure planned parenthood was happy to refer them to another clinic, since those referrals are a service that they provide and all...
I heard Mitt say that we can't kill our way out of this and then turn right around and say that he wants to kill the bad guys. He's Etch-a-Sketching in real time.Quote: rdw4potusminute 9: did I just hear a republican call for MORE foreign aid money??
I don't think it's tearing up. I think he's trying to appear earnest but it's not a good performance. Mitt's not feeling it.Quote: rdw4potusMinute 15: Romney is tearing up. He's not doing badly, but he literally looks like he's about to cry.
Quote: Al Gore - October 17, 2000 Presidential DebateI served on the House Intelligence Committee and I worked hard to learn the subject of nuclear arms control and how we can diffuse these tensions and deal with non-proliferation and deal with the problems of terrorism and these new weapons of mass destruction. Look, we're gonna face some serious new challenges in the next four years.
Sooooo, will the members of the NEA "go behind" or will they get raises? There's like 20MM americans who want to know...
Quote: rdw4potusMinute 51: Romney looks & sounds like he'd rather not be here. Obama preaching a little, but dominating this debate. If this persists, it's going to be an odd mirror of the first debate.
LOL, you must be on acid, Dude. What are you watching?
Then why bother showing up for the debate?Quote: Mitt RomneyI want to underscore the same point the president made.
Quote: s2dbakerThe CNN dial-a-debater thingy is going bonkers for Obama.
He did a great job of pushing it to his side in the first 15 minutes. Now it's like being down 12 bets in a BJ shoe and trying to claw back. Romney gets excited when he's only 7 down, then loses 3 in a row, then wins 2, then...

I'm just sitting here watching the CNN insta poll. it's not close or good for Romney. also, (minute 72) Romney is now looking at Obama like a smitten teenager. I'm sure there's just a light in his eyeline, but the split screen is seriously making it look like he'd like to lean in for a kiss.

CNN? Are you watching Sullivan tweet it while

CNN isn't left of center. It IS the center.
But even if it was left of center, I'd still trust them to pick 20 undecided voters at random, hand them instant polling devices, and report the raw data in an unedited format.

The center of the Left, you're right. You must be joking,
Wolf Blitz pee's blue.
Too complex an answer. The correct answer is, "Whatever you believe, Bob". See watch...Quote: rdw4potusCNN isn't left of center. It IS the center.

I remember in 2008 when Bush's number went under 40%,
Wolf was having on air orgasms, he was almost panting.
He mentioned it something like 11 times in one hour of his
show. I thought he was going to be overwhelmed with
excitement, like a 4 year old at his own birthday party.

If this was a chess game, Romney checkmate.

But he needed to engage in the back and forth. The challenger needs to use the foreign policy debate to prove competency, and Romney didn't come anywhere even remotely close to doing that. Romney probably didn't hurt himself, but he absolutely let Obama help himself much more than was necessary.
Quote: rdw4potusBut he needed to engage in the back and forth.
Why? When you have the momentum, just look presidential
and don't get baited by Obama into a rerun of the 2nd debate.
Don't tell me you didn't see Omama doing that? People won't
remember a word either one said, all they'll remember is
facial expressions, tones of voice and overall demeanor. Hell,
I don't remember what was said and I was paying attention.

Let's say you're right. If you think that Romney's squinty smirk was more "presidential" than Obama's expression, then you have a very odd taste in presidents. Did you vote for Dukakis? Mondale? Ford?
53% for Obama
23% for Romney
24% call it a tie
Quote:A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 48% of registered voters awarded the debate to Obama, while 33% went with Romney.
Respondents to a CNN poll favored Obama by a 46%-39% margin -- though they also favored Romney's responses on economic issues by 18 percentage points

Romeny came across as presidential and Obama was
petty and angry. He couldn't get Romney to take the
bait so he could paint him as the war monger the Left
has been claiming he is. Obama was confused and
frustrated by Romney's behavior, just what Romney
wanted.
They say this was all Romney's idea, his team wanted
to go in the other direction. Wow, a president that has
idea's and doesn't need a prompter. Pinch me.
