Lets say you just hit your point and it's the Passline roll.
you have $1200 in odds on a combination of numbers.
a 7 rolls. all the odds come back to you.
Would you get a W2G because you just collected $1200 at once?
(unfortunately, I would say yes but would like to hear from others.)
Let's say you play the dark side, $100/$600. DP and two DC's. If a seven hits and you win $600+$600+$500=$1700 (6,8,9) do you get a W2G? They were separate bets... but they resolved on the same roll.

yes w2g.
it resolved all at once.
like the QuickHits slot machine with 25+ freerolls. after the freeroll is resolved (ie: all 25spins are done), you get a w2g if the total for the freeroll is 1200+ even though each spin in the freeroll won less than 1200
Anyway, I always turn the odds "on" on the comeout.
Quote: teddysDon't think it could happen because I've never seen a machine that allows you to take >$500 in bets at once. So you could never have $1200+ on the layout. I think they designed it that way.

For the e-Craps machine in md, the max passline bet is $500.
i've had $600 odds when i do $100 Dont Pass.
i think the max on the layout was $2500 or $3000.
--> always Turning odds on during Passline roll
Are you ahead vs not turning it on?
when i play passline, i'm down 2-5 bets per session when i turn on Odds on the passline roll.
yes, statistics, small sample size and all that variance stuff.
but it's no less disheartening when i have $ on all 6 numbers and a 7 comes on the passline roll.
because it's less fun, i dont do that anymore when i have 4+ numbers

There's ONE machine at Eldorado in Reno that has a $1000 max...however, it has a max individual bet of $25 (and it's only 2x odds)
So you'd almost HAVE to have it max bet EVERYWHERE to get a $1200 score in one shot...
EDIT: You WOULD have to have a max bet one everything (Every number covered with a $25 Place-To-Lose/$25 Lay/$25 DP+Odds) and even THEN, you'd still have to bet like $25 BigRed + $75 Three-Way-7
Don't forget that you can only lay 2x on a DP/DC, so $50 (not true 2x odds). Do they have Place to Lose? I've never noticed that on the betting screen.Quote: TIMSPEEDThere's ONE machine at Eldorado in Reno that has a $1000 max...however, it has a max individual bet of $25 (and it's only 2x odds)

($75x6 (DP/DC every number) = $450) + ($25x6 (lay) = $150) + $75 Any Seven + $75 Three-way Seven = $750 total in action
Pays ($66.50x2+$58x2+$50x2 = $349) + (($20.75x2+$16.50x2+$12.50x2=99.50)x0.95=$94.50) + $300 + $325 = $1068.50 on a seven out.
So with bets returned you are easily over the W2G mark.
