Hi there people
Has anyone got a genuine system for beating roulette. ?
I have read about the Spainish team Garcio Paylayo family that used computers to record hot numbers form one rotor in a Spainish Casino and made a few hundred thousand Euros.
so did a search in google on beating roulette using roulette computers, any one tried one of these, there is people that sell them on the net?
There seems to be mixed views on these on the net, but one guy showed a team of scientists and a global newspaper a successful demonstration, so now curious.
if there was a way to get the money I have lost over the years back from these 2"#¤%"#¤& then Iwould have one last dance with the devil and WIN!
Look forward to your replies..

Sure there is. If the goal is "reaching your target or die", variance *is* your friend. Without any variance - the house edge will eat you alive with absolutely no chance reaching your target.

Yes, play like the casino does, get a 5% edge
and go for it.

You'll get thrown in jail, but at least your game of roulette had a positive EV.

It might be possible. If the roulette wheel has an equal chance of hitting any number, you cannot win, period. However, if you can predict where the ball will land even a little, you might be able to get your money back.
There is no such thing as a "hot" number, unless there's a problem with the wheel (there isn't). See if you can find a way, mechanically-assisted or otherwise, to gauge the spin, preferably on a table with a "racetrack"; that's probably what was successfully demonstrated. If you can pick the right number even one time in 35, or pick it to within a two-spot radius even one time in 7, you're ahead. Of course, you almost certainly can't. Derren Brown claims to have done it, and in a test was off by one; I'd love to see him tested under controlled conditions. I'm pretty sure people have been arrested for using instruments at roulette.
(Of course, all this ranges from arguably cheating to inarguably cheating.)
Alternatively, if you have a set goal, are willing to stick to it, and are willing to risk far more than that, a Martingale bet will give you a good chance of winning. (But if you lose, you lose big.)

The trick to poker is learning not to beat yourself up for your mistakes too much, and certainly not too little, but just the right amount.

I was at a private demonstration inside a Vegas casino where a dealer targeted a section of four numbers on the wheel... and no one believes me. Of course the casino isn't going to admit to it either.
I have no knowledge of any betting system for roulette, and I don't play it myself. But I know that there is at least one dealer in this world who can target a section on the wheel.

Not sure if this is the case here, but there have been some people who are said to have discovered wheels with bias, and supposedly just enough to overcome a European wheel [not a 0/00 wheel]. Anything other than that, forget it.

The best way to beat Roulette is to go to a single-zero table, Martingale either Red/Black, if you win, never play again.
This really only works if you've never played before, though.

Roulette wheels have been beaten many times. There are two basic methods. The first is ballistic prediction based on the movement of the wheel and ball, and the second is based on finding and exploiting a roulette wheel with sufficient bias to overcome the house edge. Edward O. Thorp, working in conjunction with Claude Shannon was the first to develop a wearable computer for ballistic prediction, however he never used it. Using a device in connection with a casino game is a crime in Nevada. It has been used in London, however, and the winners were allowed to keep their winnings.
Gonzalo Garcia-Pelayo uses the second method and often finds more than one "hot" number on a wheel. He has made himself unpopular not only because he wins but because he refuses to tip. The big question is how do you detect a usable bias?
The casinos generally tally a thousand or more spins and use the chi-square statistic. In September of 2011 a book entitled "Probability Tables for American Roulette With 4,500 Simulated Plays" appeared for sale on Amazon. It uses an approximation to the multinomial distribution and claims to be able to detect usable bias in 2,000 or fewer spins. Its chief flaw is that it was published only for the Amazon Kindle e-reader and taking a device such as this into a casino could arouse suspicion. It should have been published in paperback.
Using no math at all, players have found and exploited biased wheels merely by playing the most frequently occurring number. This is probably what Garcia-Pelayo does. Of course the more spins you observe the more accurate your conclusions are likely to be.

If it could detect a bias in 200 spins, it should have been printed on toilet paper. All least then it would have been usable.

Tis but the casket

The gem that filled it
