but i have degenerative nerve disease and I cant place the cheques
as fast as i want to BEFORE the dealer calls LAST CALL.
can I ask the dealer to help me place my cheques ?
if I am handicapped arent they suppose to help those disabled ?
just wondering....
My suggestion would be to bring along a friend to help you place the bets.
Someone else touching your cheques while "in play" at a roulette table.
so bringing a person would be ok in your area ?
thanks for your feed back.
Quote: MarieBicurieJust tell the dealer you need assistance. They will help you. MonkeyMonkey's advice to bring a friend is only good if you never intend to place a bet yourself. They will tell you, "Sorry sir, only one color per player." If you say you need assistance, they will insist that only the DEALER help you place your bets. If the dealer makes a mistake, you have recourse because it was a dealer's error. If your buddy makes a mistake, you have none. Players at the far end of the table can't possibly cover all the numbers themselves and the dealer's do it FOR them. It's called "Call bets". If you do it before the spin or early enough you will be able to place them with no problem with the aid of the dealer. Just put how many chips down on the layout that you want to go on the number and tell the dealer the number you want. Just do that as much as you want until the dealer calls "No more bets". The roulette dealer will help you, it's their job.
Totally agree with this. And btw, any casino which refused to offer you the assistance you need in this respect would very likely be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act's public accommodation requirements.
Unless they are a Indian casino ,then they can ignore the law.Quote: midwestgbTotally agree with this. And btw, any casino which refused to offer you the assistance you need in this respect would very likely be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act's public accommodation requirements.
The only problem with this system is the "Rapid" part. Sometimes, regular people run out of time. If you have a disability that causes you to move more slowly than the norm, then this isn't a good solution.

I don't deal roulette often, so I'd never come across this kind of situation, but I checked last night and I was told the dealer could help you place the chips.
As far as someone else helping you, as long as they weren't playing too (different color non-value chips) I don't think there'd be a problem. It would essentially be them playing and you advising on where the chips should go.
