First base, third base or anywhere?

Where do you like to sit? Any card game.

In another thread about flak heard at third base it occurred to me that I have a weird habit of only wanting to sit at first base. It doesn't matter what game either. Got me to wondering if I'm the only one with this type of preference. I hardly think so, in a forum that is at least somewhat focused on gambling. We aren't exactly perceived as a non superstitious bunch.

Although there used to be a dealer at The Horseshoe in Bossier named Bea. I always sat her entire shift no matter what shift she was working. If first base opened up I'd move to it but I always took first available seat when she worked there. I don't know where she went but made a lot of money when she worked there. I miss her.

i like either first or third, because i like the extra room.
i hate being huddled in between other players,
and will always wait for an open seat on the end.
even at an empty table, i take the end set, just in case it fills up.
when playing BJ, i always count and like third,
when playing 3 card poker,
i only play at a certain property with a certain dealer, and i always sit at first. :)

Third base but it doesn't matter in heads-up play which is what I strive for. When the table gets full, you will have the advantage of seeing more cards before you play. Of course a full table means less hands per hour so I'll probably be gone.

I'm still picturing a baseball diamond and the first person to get cards is third base. It confuses me so.

1st or 3rd. I'm 6'4'' and 240 and greatly appreciate the extra space to stretch out as I have been known to spend as much as 7 straight hours at a table if I am winning!

I'd rather sit across from the hot girl, or as much as possible. If she's hot, I want to be able to look at her, and sitting next to her makes that a bit awkward.

I answered that I prefer my own table, though that's only true for Roulette and Blackjack.

I sit at Third base for Let It Ride, I prefer for there to be more people as they are not exactly diligent at concealing their cards.
