No comped drinks at the bar while playing, regardless of buy in.
Pooled tips, split with casino management?
Dealers sued on this, they lost.
Did you read Steve's new book, "In Pursuit of the Golden Fleece Job"?
No thanks.

A few days ago here I've already said that when I just found out Wynn/Encore does not comp drinks at their bars even if you're playing the $10 machines, I cut up my slot cards and will not go there again unless they change that stupid policy.

You cannot deny that the Wynn has great service, experienced dealers, and hot cocktail waitresses. That said, like other people, I have a problem with some of their policies. I still make it a point to play blackjack or WPT all-in Hold 'Em for a hour or so every time I'm in Las Vegas, just to get a few drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. Other than that, I don't give them a substantial amount of my business.

Just stayed 3 nights at Encore based on getting a great offer in the mail. I guess they mistook me for a bigger bettor. Loved the room, it was the nicest we have ever stayed in.
But it definitely seemed riduculous to pay $ 4.50 for a diet coke my wife ordered when she was playing at the bar. Doesn't Wynn see how foolish that is for "regular people". My only conclusion is that they want to make it clear that they don't want normal people as clientele, just foolish rich people. How else to explain their lousy paytables ?

There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

I believe it! $14 cosmo @ the encore bar and I was playing, but they do make it clear before by asking if it is cash or room charge.

I have to get Jerry Logan on y'all. Jeezish people, you are all on this board for a reason. Just sit down at a penny slot or BJ table, tip the waitress a buck or two, and get your drink. What is the appeal of sitting at the "bar?"
