Fresh off the Cosmopolitan/Marriot Alliance, the Venetian Palazzo (Vegas only) has formed an alliance with Intercontinental Hotels group:
InterContinental Venetian/Palazzo Alliance
IHG is a British company with Holiday Inn as it's best known brand.

Intercontinental is a nice international hotel.
Holiday Inn/Express is simply their better known brand
