I came across this notice about an offer from South Point as being an attempt to lure poker players away from various Stations casinos. I don't really know how good an offer it is of and in itself much less how good an offer it is in relations to Stations.
To lull away players from Station Casinos, South Point is holding a $125,000 freeroll poker tournament on Dec. 13 and 14.
To qualify, play 100 hours of cash games now through Nov. 30. Then you'll be entered and get T2000 chips (pay $10 for T1000 more).
Can also gain extra chips by playing more:
500 hours will get you T2000 more chips.
Play a tournament and get T50 more chips.
Play 25 tournaments and get T500 more chips.
Don't sleep at all, because the player who plays the most hours will get $1000 cash.
The tourney looks to be a good one, with 30-minute levels and a $5 bounty for every player knocked out.
Going into the final 25 players, each level extends to 45 minutes.
The top 50 will win at least $300. First place wins $35,000, second place wins $15,000, and third wins $10,000.
