For the first time ever I had to pay to park downtown! $2! Bastards!
can you show a room key? If so, just save one next time you get a comped room?Quote: FunkyDoctorThe machine at the cashier for self-validating your parking ticket is no more. Apparently, now you have to have the pit boss validate it if you are playing tables or a slot assistant if you are playing machines (after $10 wagered). I hadn't been to the 4Q for a few months, so this change may not be very recent.

This used to be my regular place to park downtown. I could just play a little VP, but their 9/6 Jacks machines next to the Keno area are gone. Anyone know if they relocated them?

No. If you are staying there, they give you a parking pass to display in your windshield. The pass has an expiration date that the parking attendant checks each time you leave.

I don't know if they have been moved, but there were also 9/6 machines in front of the cashier cage. I didn't check to see if they were still there on my recent visit, tho.
I played enough to get validation that way, but I didn't really know the procedure or want to sit around waiting for someone to come to validate me. I wonder if the slot club booth could validate it as well seeing as they have access that should show your recent play.
Quote: HullabalooYou can also get validation for food purchases. I was there a few days before Christmas and needed some food anyway so I just got a small pizza at the Noble Romans/Subway/Dryers place and they validated it without any problem. I did ask first, which would seem to make sense no matter what food place you went to.

As soon as you sit down to a machine, push the change/attendant button, and keep your eye out for an attendant to flag down too.
