Quote: Blonde4everNo...I am "attempting" to take part in this forum,
because I was told by an Admin that I was welcome.
Which is hard to believe, considering the reaction every time I speak.
Maybe Axel got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
There are dozens of threads on this site discussing American Casino Guide. The administrators talk about it often and at least one has bought it. The Wizard even made a video for it. It's a good deal for all who have used it, saving them several times the cost of the purchase price. Mention of it here has always been accepted.
This is one reason that I refuse to post links here. You can't win. Just recently I was called lazy for mentioning something and not posting a link. Imagine being called lazy in front of the whole forum by someone that doesn't even know you. I'd say welcome to the forum, Blonde4ever, but you've been here longer than most of us.
Axel likes to keep an eye on my posts as well so we have something in common.

Yes, that is the case. She posted a brief quote of an excerpt from a clearly relevant squarely on-topic promo description published elsewhere, and linked to the original, as she should. Yes, there was every reason for her to take offense. I did. So did a number of others that I'm aware of. Not that that's anything new.Quote: AxelWolfSo if someone thinks I was trying to suggest it was spam, thats not the case.
ADD: I've gotten a bit ornery that way towards someone a time or two. I knew good and well that I was doing it at the time.
Well people will just have to get over it and on to the next big scandal.Quote: DrawingDeadYes, that is the case. Yes, there was every reason for her to take offense. I did. So did a number of others that I'm aware of. Not that that's anything new.

Axel I'm curious about something, a little off-topic question that seems to hover in the air often for some reason in connection with your virtual personna here, if you happen to feel in the mood for such a thing: Have you ever been able to hold a job? Any sort of job, it really doesn't matter what. If so, how long was that for? Just curious.

Oh the embarrassment!
If you believe I was spoiled growing up that's not true. My Mom made enough to pay rent and buy food and sometimes maintain a car. if she had $30 in the bank that was a lot.Quote: DrawingDeadPure class.

Yes I worked hard since I was young. In middle school until 9 th grade I had a law care service that anyone can do for neighbors, But I cold knocked everyone's door within 5 miles. I took it one step further and contacted all the real estate agents and management agencies numbers from the for sale/rent signs when I seen overgrown grass. I also started cleaning vacant rentals for the rental management companies and had friends help me. At the end I was making about $500 a month as a kid.
I had to move with my dad to a hick town a few hundred miles away where I worked as a host/bus boy/dishwasher for about 2.5 years after school and on weekends.
I moved away again in with some girl(nothing serious just roommates with benefits) and got a job selling kirby for a year. I didn't really like it, but when they had a contests for the top sales person of that month in our district(over 15 sales) to go to Vegas free with some nice spending money, I decided to go for it. I did have the most sales, however my boss/owner caught wind of my plans to stay in Vegas and not return. A few days later I got news someone beat me by 2 sale(BS). I did some digging and found out they were combining contracts from a few other salesman's sales to the runner up's tally to edge me out because he wanted to keep me from leaving. I should have known better because he was always doing shady crap, like stealing credit declined sales and financing them himself.
I said F it sold my car and jumped on a greyhound and came to Vegas anyways. I barley supported myself for a while playing pool at places like the Trolley Stop, Jack an Jills and a few Inn Zone's, wherever I could reasonably get to. Also played up and down fremont . I would also buy and sell free play tokens at the 4 queens. ( I had to sneak in most places because I wasn't 21)
Eventually I found a job Working as a underpaid supervisor at yuppie FF joint, at 2 locations with horrible split shifts. It wasn't enough money, so I took a 2nd job at a strip casino, I was working in shipping and receiving for $8 an hr. When I turned 21 I transferred to the slot department, meanwhile the FF place went out of business(apparently the 2nd owner was embezzling money).
I was the only person that they eventually trained for 5 different jobs. Floor Change, Carousel, cashier , money runner, Base(directing jackpots, floor people, fills, errors logging jackpot and promotion bonus information) and the drop crew.
( I did everything on a Bike, I probably petalled 30 miles a day, I didn't have a car until 5 months after I went full time AP. Even though I could've before that I chose not to )
For extra cash, I started setting up pool tournaments for various locations like the pioneer club. I also set up props for convention and casino parties.
Being young and underpaid I spent my money as fast as it came in(no, not on gambling)
Luckily most everybody liked me at the casino including management.
During the last 5 months or so when I started doing side AP. I basically just showed up and did nothing productive, I socialized with customers, employees and management. I broke just about every non serious rule they had. Sleeping with many different co-workers, living with same department employees, dating regular good customers, 2hr lunch breaks and manny 15 min breaks. I would have hour long conversions with customers while they played slots and video poker. I would make spots bets on duty.
I had many options and job offers including promotions and tournament coordination, but this was something I loved doing, so I took a risk without much money and went for it.
As I said before.... it was one of the scariest, but happiest moments of my life, there's very little I would change.
I really haven't had much time to hold down a "REAL" job, I'm only between 35 and 45
and I started AP full time at about 23 and I haven't really done anything else since.

Not that it matters (I think it really truly doesn't as I find the farther along one goes in life the less value I attach to what I think others opinions are outside of few designated exceptions) but I'm favorably impressed by the whole substantive content of what you just took the time to write in response to that question, which was of course none of my business, and I probably wouldn't have done. And it wasn't close to the first few guesses I may have had, which would not have been what you were apparently guessing that I thought, either. Thanks for taking the trouble to do it; enlightening picture received in clear color. I respect it, which is good in trade for one free Palms car wash token.

At the risk of being suspended here (actually knowing I will be), FUCK YOU. Who are you to question Axel or any member here on what they do or have ever did for a living?
Axel may or not have answered your question in a PC way, which I have not, but he is one of the most knowledgable members here who has shown time and time again he is willing to help members with what he knows. The man works as much as any of us to make the living he does. I don't see him as a "virtual persona" as you do. He is willing to meet any member on here new or old as he has proven many times over. Just look at the situation with B79 and HM.
I like Blonde and I know she has things to add to this forum as well and maybe he was hard on her, but it happens everyday on here. Your statement of "pure class" is more of the same. What you are saying by asking if he ever has had a job is no different.
My guess is Axel makes enough to do fine for himself, just like any of us who hold a "regular" job. Is that an issue with you?
Just adding my thoughts to keep the "Discussion about the Suspension..." thread going.
Well, I'm not offended. Don't know if that will be disappointing or not, but I'm not. If that's your take on it then in my opinion it is as good a place as any to ever tell someone to perform the notorious anatomically challenging act.Quote: BozAt the risk of being suspended here (actually knowing I will be), FUCK YOU. But I'm free to ask. I will remain so. So is anyone else. Best get accustomed to the concept. And he or I or you and anyone else is free to answer such a question or not, as they wish, as little or much or not at all as they may choose. I think your take that it somehow implied a demanding requirement is hogwallow. That rhymes with bullspittle. But if I had the same understanding of it as somehow "I demand that you must..." then I'd be saying I should frack myself with a stronger vowel too.
Have a nice day, or not, as you prefer.
Quote: tringlomane7/5 Bonus (98.01%) is their best game. Bartops have a 9/6/5 DB multi-way progressive for quarters that can be higher than 98% though. For the purposes of the loss rebate though, it might also be better to play 9/5 DDB (97.87%) or 6/5 Super Aces (97.78%) for the extra variance based upon the sims I ran. G/f and I both played 9/5 DDB for quarters and lost $20 each. We got about $15 each back playing nickels. After the first $20, this wasn't a positive play from my sim data at quarters at least. Definitely worth trying to lose the first $20 though.
This is what I did last week. $20 on .25 DDB....lost quickly....fireworks on the terminal display....$20 free play loaded (after pin entered)....played 16 hands of .25 Bonus Poker and ended with $31.25. Up enough for White Castle combo (with no line), which I will describe as meh (not bad, but not great).
To sign up for a Casino Royale card: just find a slot tech and give them your ID and preferred 4 digit pin. They will punch up your details and bring your card.
Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread.

This will be your fourth offense if the administrators decide to take any action. There's been a lot of insults and vulgarity lately that have slipped through the cracks so maybe they'll let this one go. There's always the drunk defense for those who have value. Good luck, Boz.

I think last time I bought white castle it was only like 49cents per slider. That was about 6yrs ago.

10pack of sliders for $11.99?!
$1.19 each?!?!
just walk around the corner to the mcDonalds and get a McDouble for $1.50!
btw- what restaurant did white castle replace? The subway?
(haven't been to casino royal since 2009.)
edit:
10pack sliders plus 2 drinks + 2 fries = $20.99?
~$10 more for 2 drinks + 2 fries?!
holy stupid people.
Steak dinner a couple of blocks away at Ellis Island casino is $8 and I think comes with a beer!

I stayed at the cosmo a few years ago. I checked out the room service menu. Holy sh*t. Stupid prices on there. I think a large pepperoni pizza (or maybe 2 pizzas?) with one 2 liter soda was $100+. A "bucket of beer" (6) was like $50+. And of course, the super ridiculous stuff, that was like $300 or $500+.
I was merely pointing out that it was, in fact, still going strong and I included the link from which I got the current information.
I am not affiliated with Casino Royale, Amercian Casino Guide, IPAD (Don't know WTH that came from) or anything else.
Just attempting to share some current info because you people need some members here that don't analyse the bejeezus out of everything! LOL
Quote: monet0412The thing that I am curious about is the mailers. Are you getting any good mail from your play Blonde4ever? Outback Steakhouse Comp maybe?? Anyone else who has tried to hammer this out and got some mailers and would like to let us know how much coin in will get you x amount of mail, please let us know!
No...I have never received a mailer from Casino Royale. I don't even know if they do mailers.
I did find out that I earned around $35 of comps that I could use at any of their restaurants. I believe they said their comps are good for 18 months. I have not been back in quite a awhile so I don't know if those comps have expired or not.
I wonder if this promo is still continuing......
