These was a shooting last night at 10:40 pm on the street in front of the Bellagio. Two dead. Close-up cell phone videos are available on the internet.

I was crossing the Strip about an hour afterward and saw all the police activity. The shooting was between, get this, two people who make YouTube videos about Las Vegas. I guess they got together for a grand finale.

There are often undesirables congregating in front of the Bellagio. Not sure what attracts them to that area.

YouTube rewards bad behavior. A video of someone taping the cops might get a few hundred views, but get in a cop's face, refuse to give your ID, and get arrested, and your video will go viral. Top content providers can make $6-$8 per thousand views and rack up a million-plus views in a month.

One of the more obnoxious youtubers was convicted after shooting a homeless guy after announcing on a livestream that he was going to stir some shit.
